Works great
I have only used it on a resin figurine, but it worked great. Wasn’t hard to get started, and I was surprised at the quality.

Easy to drill small holes.
This works so well with my small projects, that I do with my epoxy crafts. The drill bits are very sharp and drill very nicely.

Sturdy
Can’t speak about crafts. I can say it’s perfect for getting a broken headphone post out of the port of my kid’s iPad!

Great pin vise for Warhammer models
The media could not be loaded. I've never used a pin vise before (have used electric drills for years though), but this one works great. I'm using it to drill holes for magnetizing arms/gear on Warhammer miniatures and drilling barrels on their weapons. I'm using it one handed while holding the model in the other hand and have had zero issues so far.For your own sanity, apply some lubricant (I used WD-40) to the rotating assembly on the back end of this so it doesn't squeal with every turn.Like any drill, make sure you tighten the tip of the pin vise around the bit. It doesn't need to be super tight, but it needs to be snug. I've had zero issues with a bit being off center. The bits accompanying this have worked really well too. I've used the 0.8mm, 1mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm, and 2mm bits so far and none have broken. I read reviews on many of these pin vise kits about bits breaking, and I'm confident now in saying that if anyone has broken these, it's operator error.Mark a pilot hole so the bit doesn't wander (I'm using a thumb tack) and don't try to push the drill bit sideways. They'll take the sideways force a tiny amount, but this is usually how you break drill bits.

Poor quality control
First impressions were not very good. It came in a zip-lock bag. No box, no docs. As I began to close the vice jaws, immediately I noticed it would not close all the way. A closer look I could see some kind of metal wire looking debris caught in the jaws. I thought great, something is broken and now I need to go through the hassle of returning it and waiting for a replacement. I took some tweezers and pulled on it slowly and out came a rather long peice of metal shaving. Looking inside the chuck afterwards I could see another pice of wire looking debris and I was able to pull that out also without damaging the springs it was caught in. Once the chuck was clear of all debris it worked well. I had to use a drop of gun oil on the pivot nut on the end because it was a bit dry and squeeky. The oil significantly improved the pivot operation.Quality control I don't think is being used. They are just manufacturering these and shipping them as is.Buy at your own risk. Its like rolling dice. You don't know what your going to get. Luckily I was able to make mine a keeper.

Great mini drill for small crafts
Perfect for doing small crafts. The drill bits all accommodate different situations and are a cinch to use. Don't need to be too rough with them, accidentally broke one due to being a bit to rough but again, my fault. Still worth the money and have been using them constantly the past month now.

Pin Vice with a chuck
This pin vice has a chuck instead of a collet. Grips drill bits much better. Easy to use. Made from machined aluminum with a steel chuck. Good price for a good product.

Does not work.
The bits fall between the jaws. They will not tighten in the center of the chuck rendering it useless. I really wanted this to work. I am not a beginner woodworker. I have over 50 years of experience as a master carpenter and shipwright. Maybe I got a defective one but I am unwilling to take a chance on replacing it with the same piece. I’ll be looking elsewhere, and so should you.
