Nice, well-performing product
Bizarrely, I have found myself becoming a connoisseur of shower curtain hangers. Go figure. I never meant to be one.I have tried many different styles at the homes and apartments I have lived at. More recently I realized I had to replace a failing set of shower curtain hangers (is there really such a thing?). They were a style that hung off the rod like a hook with outstretched studs on each side, one for the liner and the other for the curtain. Separate hooks like that one allowed the two pieces to be more spaced out from each other, allowing better ventilation to dry as well. It also had bearings on it for smooth movement, but they seized up after a year of use. This made it much harder to slide open.I then tried another manufacturer's cheaper version of these Moen hangers. However they were constructed of a much smaller gauge of wire. They did not look durable and I feared the weight of the curtains would cause them to eventually tear through (my outer curtain did not have grommets to reinforce them). So I ended up purchasing these Moen chrome-finished hangers, which really look more like a satin finish to me. They were certainly constructed of larger gauge wire. However one of the balls had fallen off the end of one of the hangers in this shipment.I contacted Amazon, who promptly sent out a replacement set. Kudos to them for the speedy turnaround! With them now installed, they perform better than I hoped! And they look good doing it! Their satin chrome finish looks good against my brushed Moen curtain rod. And they really slide back and forth with ease! Other styles would drag and get caught up on the overlap of the telescoping poles of the rod. These do not. And they separate the two curtains out even a little bit firther, allowing even better ventilation between them!I would definitely purchase them again!

Easy to use and Look great
So easy to use, and they look really nice. I’m short, and changing the shower curtain out in between washes is such a pain for me. I had those old annoying clasps that you have to squeeze open and my arms would be killing me by the end. These take no time to use. So simple. Exactly what I needed. Classy look. Total Upgrade.

I don't think these are for everybody.
Very wide hooks make for easy sliding. Quality is very good. A bit pricey but time will tell how they hold up in daily usage. The one drawback: The directions state to place the hooks a particular way owing to them not being the same length on the two side. The interior show curtain liner I have has metal rivets, hence the problem, that slides right off the hook in moved to fast or if pull a towel placed over the rod to the inside of the tub/shower. My outer decorative curtain has button hole like hook holes, no metal rivets. The outer curtain stays in place, and the 'small side of the hook' is placed on the outside. Inside hook has a very long length. I'm going to try switching it out because I'm fighting this daily interior of a few of the curtain rivets & hook combo allowing the curtain to come off. Maybe this is more of a 3.5 owing to being frustrated a few times putting the curtain back on the hooks. IT might work better on another person's system.

Works perfect!
Works absolutely perfect for what i needed. Slides easily on the shower rod and keeps the curtains in place perfectly. Nice heavy metal and the perfect color of satin nickel to match my bathroom hardware

excellent product - a real innovation
Like another reviewer, I am a short person, so changing the liner has always been a pain in the butt for me. When I saw these double hook rings I was impressed just because it's a great idea. When I received the box I was happy because the box itself was heavy - indicating to me that the rings inside the box were made of metal and not just plastic made to look like metal. I am impressed with the look and feel of the rings. They are a lovely muted silver color, and very substantial. I have not put them up yet; I will update when I have installed the new curtains on the new rod with these new rings.Edit: I've been using these shower curtain rings for a couple of months now, and I LOVE them. In fact, I like them so much, I put them in *my* bathroom and ordered another set for the front bathroom reno (lol). They are untouched by any build-up from daily use, and the curtains have not messed up, or tried to fall of the hooks, either. They roll over the shower curtain rods easily, even the big hump in mine doesn't stop them. The best thing about them is that I can take the fabric curtain off, wash it, and replace it, without messing with the vinyl liner at all.I highly recommend these shower curtain rings.

Great hooks - so easy to remove your shower curtain or liner for laundering
I like these hooks so much I had to come back and buy more for the other bathrooms. The beaded section sits atop the shower curtain rod and the longer of the two side hooks goes toward the shower/tub. Hang your liner on that side, and then hang your curtain on the shorter outside hook. You can hang your liner and your curtain and be finished faster than you could even unfasten the other types of hooks. The shape of these keeps the curtain and the liner from slipping off the hook, so everything stays in place. Another nice thing is that there is a buffer of air between the liner and the curtain. If you have a fabric curtain it won't get wet, and it won't stick to the liner. Very smart. These hooks glide easily along the rod. They may not be the cutest hooks out there, but they sure are convenient.
