SIA PLH1 2kW Stainless Steel Slimline Electric Kitchen Plinth Heater

I read the reviews here before buying this plinth heater, unfortunately I could not find the heat output, but still decided to buy.Amazed at how quick the delivery was, despite closeness to Christmas.Unbowed the heater when it arrived, found the easy tofollow and understand instructions, which were spot on for aperture cutting sizes.I had this fitted and working in the kitchen within 3 hours, as I had to do some fiddling about with units to route the nice long power cord.Turned it on and even at high heat setting the kitchen gets toasty in around 15 minutes. The heater is quiet on all settings and you can have a normal audible conversation while it's blowing away.It is no way noisy or loud at all.It is effective, efficient, warming and was a great price to give you a warm kitchen without having to heat all your house by central heating.

Excellent product, fast delivery, well packed with clear fitting instruction. Really makes a difference in my kitchen, it is powerful without being noisy and you can feel the warmth around the kitchen in seconds.I would definitely recommend.

Installed in kitchen and really pleased with it. Was easy to install, I hooked it up to a smart plug so I can turn it on remotely or via voice control and it works a treat.

The media could not be loaded.  Fitted this in the plinth of my office/workshop, fitted easily and wired into a roomstat and programmer. Only use 1kW setting warms it up in minutes then my stat just tickles it every now and then. No lowder than the PC fan when running looks good in the brushed stainless steel.Note this unit is either 1kW or 2 Kw or cold and does not have a thermostat .Really pleased

The media could not be loaded.  Product was easily fitted and worked fine in the beginning, however quickly started making a horrific noise and stopped working... do not buy this product!

The unit works well. What is impressive is that it is quiet.Less impressive is that there is no fitting template. I made one using part of the box it came in.Also I cannot see how as a max 2kw fan heater it needs a 2 pole outlet as against simply being able to use a 13amp fused plug. The draw is much less than 13a.The advantage of a cord is that the wire can be run. But that could as easily be achieved by not having one of those dreaded moulded plugs.

Easy to install,very good value for money. Excellent product.
