And wiping up messes on the mat sometimes end up leaving me with tiny bits of food stuck in the weave. I don't want to have to spray down the mats in my sink every day. Something that protects my table and can be wiped off more easily would be great. I give 2 stars for appearance bc the design is so simple but goes with everything. I wish the manufacturer would fuse some sort of clear backing to the underside of the mat to at least protect the table. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bright happy color, came rolled *by K***P on Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2021* First, they came rolled. I had to use heavy books for a couple of days to try to flatten. It worked fairly well, but was a bit annoying. The edges still curl a little, hopefully this fades with time.They color is very bright and looks a lot like the picture. However, they are much thinner and flimsier feeling than other vinyl placemats I own. I guess that is why the heavy books actually worked to flatten.We spilled tacos on them immediately. I washed with dish soap in the sink. Yes they come rolled up but they flatten super easy. I’m not sure why some people had issues but mine were great within an hour or so.
