Olicamp SPACE SAVER CUP Metal, One Size

The other day I decided to rough it in the wilderness caveman style. I brought with me only the equipment of the typical caveman - a rudimentary knife, a Nalgene of clean water, a tin can, some steel wool, a 9V battery, and this Olicamp Space Saver cup. It was quite cold out, so I foraged the forest floor for dry pine needles, leaves, and tinder to get a fire going. With a metal can and the steel wool, I soon had a raging fire ready to heat up my Space Saver Cup of water.In just a couple of minutes I had that water to a raging boil, only to realize that I had not brought any cocoa, as cavemen had not yet figured out international trade or the proper puffing of marshmallows. So I had no idea what they did with all their hot water.The cup held up marvelously well, showing some char on the bottom that came off easily with the steel wool. As a bonus, this thing slips perfectly onto a 32oz Nalgene bottle, saving tons of space in your survival bag.

I bought this cup for use in my bug out bag's cook system, but now it is part of a stand alone cook system for blackouts.The Olicamp Space Saver cup is very durable, well designed, and (of course) space saving when used with a Nalgene 32 oz bottle.Along with the Nalgene bottle, both fit well inside of a Condor H2O Pouch. Add a light weight Esbit stove, matches, and a bandanna and you've got an all-in-one cooking system for when the lights go out. Another great thing about the cup is the measurements on the outside and inside of the cup. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and I recommend this to anyone!

It's perfect, exactly what I needed. I bought this, and a CRKT Eat'n tool, just in case I have to feed my 7mo old, and don't have his diaper bag with me. I keep it nested with my 32oz Nalgene.For those of you who are having an issue with your cup getting too hot, knocking on tables ect?I got a silicone "boot", like you'd put on a kleen kanteen, and it fits perfect on the cup. Just thought I'd pass that along for you.

This cup fits fairly well to my nalgene bottle. The fit is not snug and seems to rely mostly on the vacuum effect to stay on. I would not be able to clip the nalgene to a belt and assume that the cup would remain attached. However, I mostly carry my nalgene in a side pouch, so this is not a major issue. The handles are functional, but do not retain their position very well (the aforementioned tendency to flop around). I have not tested the cup for cooking or heated liquids as of yet, but I suspect the handles will perform the required function.Overall, for the money, you get a functional cup that will allow you to share beverages in a sanitary manner, and allows you to boil water/cook food if necessary. I purchased this item because I realized that while I almost always carry water with me, I usually didn't have a suitable container for boiling water if the need arose. With this cup, I will at least have a small container for this purpose.

I’m very pleased with this sturdy, well-made, stainless steel space saver cup. I’ve used it for drinking hot coffee, and I really like the handles keeping the cup steady and not transfering heat to my fingers. I also really like the measurements being marked on the cup. When I’ve been camping, I’ve sometimes needed a way to measure these amounts while cooking. I still need to directly heat the cup on a stove, etc.., to test that use. Based on its construction and my use of it so far, I’m expecting for it to handle that function well. fits 32oz Nalgene bottle perfect

Shipment was received in a day - thanks Amazon! The cup is exactly what I was looking for. It fits perfectly on the Nalgene bottle. It is sturdy, light weight but durable, and cleans up well. It also works well with my new folding firebox stove (coolest product ever!). I definitely endorse this product - especially for those of you who like to backpack &/or camp with a Nalgene bottle as your canteen. It's worth the money!

Update: Almost 4 years later, only complaint is still the weight. Not a thing wrong with it.Original: There are a few choices out there for this type of cup. If you're in the market, you want one that fits on the bottom of your water bottle without taking up extra space. What sets this one apart from most, is the lower price, and the marked graduations. Don't let the price fool you, this is a sturdy cup. The steel is thick enough to not dent or warp, and the handles are plenty solid enough to hold the cup full to the brim without wiggling around. The markings are handy for any dehydrated meals or recipes where you need to measure things out. No coatings means it's safe to use in the fire. And added bonus, the lid from my Stanley 24oz pot fits it.The only reason I can foresee replacing this, is if I upgrade later to titanium.

Nice, light cup. Nests nicely with my Stanley Adventure Camp Cookset taking up less room in the pack.

Exactly as advertised, high quality cup that fits on a Nalgene bottle. A great addition to the gear for backpacking or camping. The long foldable handles are great for drinking hot liquids or heating things up on a stove.
