PURRRRRRRFECT PALACE!
I read all the reviews on amazon as well as other websites about it and knew exactly what to expect. The purple color is a more of a lighter lilac purple but I actually prefer that over the stock photo. It is very easy to put together, seriously just 4 bolts and it has the tool to tighten them included. I bought this for my precious kitty "Baby Girl" who is my pride and joy for her 12th birthday! Baby Girl is a petite kitty, just over 7lbs and this is perfect for her! Like everyone else says this is for smaller cats 10lbs or under and kittens. The quality is extremely nice, the entire thing is covered in very soft plush fabric instead of rough carpet, with the exception of the scratching post of course. The plush item with the little purple kitty logo on it that hangs from the top level to the bottom is attached by velcro at the top and is a crinkle blanket. It has some plastic crunchy paper in it that make sound if your cat plays with it or brushes against it. Baby Girl loves it when I use a laser pointer on the crinkle blanket! The upper level of the palace has a pole up through the middle holding up the canopy that does limit the room in that level where larger cats would have more trouble using that section. There are two 3 inch plush beige rattle balls attached inside on a short string... though I think I'm going to cut them loose so Baby Girl can roll them around more in there or chase them around the house! The entire inside is covered in plush and the floor has that crinkle foil type material that makes noise as your kitty plays on it. On this upper level there is one large opening for the door on the purple plush area and a smaller window on the opposite side of the purple plush. The base on this upper level has 6 paw poking size windows all the way around for added fun! The top of the castle has a little plush flag that is adorable! The lower level house is pretty simple, has a removable and washable cushion and is quite roomy. I think a cat up to 10- 12lbs would fit comfortably in there! The inside diameter is 14 inches. Just like the top level the entire inside is also lined with the lilac plush. The scratch post tower is covered in sisal rope which is very nice because if the kitty ever wears out the sisal, it can easily be recovered with new sisal for about 5 dollars! It has a super comfy and VERY sturdy bed at the top of the tower which is also 14 inches wide but seems a bit smaller because of the thick cushy edges. Baby Girl uses it more as a look out point and play area than a bed so far but she's only had it 2 days. There is a 3 inch plush lilac ball that hangs down and rattles from the tower bed. The bed is about 30 inches high from the ground. The entire unit is about 33lbs, very sturdy and the most adorable kitty castle I have ever saw! I am so glad I ordered it and Baby Girl is too! I looked at several pet stores and they didn't have anything nearly as PURRRRFECT as this! And $90 with free shipping, you can't beat that for such a royal retreat! Baby Girl feels just like a princess in her new palace! Thank you Amazon!

Brutally Honest Review with Lots of Caps Locked Typed Words
I read a lot of mixed reviews on this product so I wanted to be sure I wrote one for myself and anyone like me who wasn't looking to spend a lot of money but still wanted to make her cat-child happy. My cat LOVES this thing. She is front declawed and still uses the scratching posts for some unknown cat reason so don't let that mislead your money. That being said, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the ledges are slightly smaller than I would've liked (would've preferred another inch on each side so that she could sprawl out a little better) but that doesn't stop Mac from chilling on those things for a nap; I also think that another entry hole on the bottom box might've made it a bit more appealing to her, I haven't seen her in it much.ALSO YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT MY CAT IS 4 YEARS OLD BUT SHE'S STILL LITTLE (According to the vet she is at the ideal cat weight for her size, so if you've heard something similar, this is probably a good fit for your cat's size). IF YOUR CAT IS FAT (And don't lie to yourself, you know if your furry baby is a chub master) I WOULD ASSUME THAT YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY WITH THE SIZE OF THIS CAT TREE. I apologize for my excessive use of capitalization but I saw a lot of people complaining that their cats didn't fit.She also LOVES the hanging ball thing. I switch where it is, on lower or higher level, sometimes to switch it up for her. SUPER easy to put together.ENJOY.

Made a Happy Kitty
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Our cat LOVES her cat tree! She is a 2 year old (small) tabby and this tree fits her very well. She enjoys all the features of this product. It was simple to put together and appears nice and sturdy for her. It is not so large as to overwhelm our small living room and it is not so small that she can't "hide" in her cubbie. Very glad we went ahead and bought the TRIXIE Pet Products Valencia Cat Tree.

Good small cat tree, but could be sturdier.
I've had this cat tree for about seven months. I bought it when I adopted my kitten back in February, and it's the perfect size for her. It's also very easy to construct. The first few pictures are the condition the tree is on today. It's held up quiet well to my kitten (now over a year old) and my other cat (5 years old) both scratching and playing on it. As you can see, the attached ball toy has fallen off, and I've taken to replacing it with other cat toys on strings. The attached ball toy did not last long, maybe only for a month or so. As for the size of the cube, my kitten can fit and play comfortably in it. She's pretty much fully grown and is 9.5lbs, and I think a cat any larger than 10 or 11lbs would be too big to fit inside. One criticism I have is that the scratching posts become loose very easily. My kitten loves pulling herself in circles around the posts, and this causes them to become loose. Even just regular scratching causes this to happen. It's easy to screw them back into place, but it's still a pain to have to check them every day. Otherwise, this is a good small cat tree and I would recommend it.

Decent
Not the best, you'll get an alarming amount of fluff flaking off this thing once you set it up. It's easy enough to put together, not that many parts. Mostly just twisting one thing onto another. Once it's set up and done shedding it's pretty stable as long as it's on a flat surface. Even if not the base is wide enough that you needn't worry. Just make sure to check it's all screwed in tight once a month and you'll have to hoover around as the scratchpole will lose fibers the more it's attacked (it's plenty durable though). If your cat doesn't use the scratching pole put some catnip in your hands, put it under the cats nose then lead it to the pole, rub the nip on the pole (not your nip, not the cat's nip, the catnip!!) and your cat should start using it. Some cats wont, even with that trick. Some cats are just born full of hatred for couches, consider electrifying your couch.

Perfect - Amazing Value
My cat destroyed her last scratching post which I bought locally, I found it online for a lot cheaper which made me happy and the cat is too as it keeps her out of trouble!Very easy to build and quick too!

Super soft - our kitten loves it!!!
Our little kitten loves this scratching post! I was a bit sceptical at first as considered buying one that had just one post on it but really glad I paid a bit more to have split levels and a place to hide at the bottom. The material is super soft so our kitten loves to sleep on or in it. She uses the scratch bit and the ball too. It’s a bit on the bulky side so you do need a bit of space for it!

So good, I have three!
I have an indoor cat, and now she's getting a bit older, it's important to try and keep her as active as possible, and she loves this post, it's not too high, and if she's feeling a bit stiff, the lower level is perfect for her. I have three of these posts! One in my bedroom, one in the hallway, and the third in the living room, where she loves to sit and look at the birds out of the window. They're not the sturdiest of posts, but good enough for her. I've put a bit of padding on the platforms though, because on two of them, the screw that attaches them to the sisal rope posts can be felt, so might be uncomfortable for my skinny cat.

It's the cat's meow
Our cat absolutely loves this. It isn't as big as it looks in the picture (see the customer posted picture as this is a really good representation of size).Be aware - this does come in pieces so you will need to assemble!! But, an alum key and 15 minutes (tops) will have it ready to go. Our cat has scratched one of the posts to shreds, but it was an easy job to just switch the two posts around and hasn't made any massive difference. It's quite easy to clean as well. After a while it does catch a bit of cat hair, but a damp cloth or vacuum will easily sort. It doesn't take up much space and allows the cat to see out of the window. Does the job perfectly!!
