Had to giggle at this thing asking me to rate the softness of an exfoliating face scrub, lol!Giggles aside, I've been meaning to leave a review for this stuff for a while now. It really does a great job. I use it in the shower after shave day, head to toe. It leaves you feeling revitalized and looking 5-10 years younger, it's like my secret youth serum!It used to be called "Blueberry Scrub" but neanderthals who never ate blueberries before kept complaining that it wasn't blue. If they had eaten a blueberry before they would know the inside of blueberries is brown. And that's what this is. I suspect the name change was the end product of an internal debate within their product development/improvement team: "Should we add blue dye to the product? Even though the dye will make it a less-healthy product, at least we won't have "Team Blue" complaining anymore."Then some bright, young, promising intern gifted her team with the insightful idea of just changing the name to Smoothie Scrub. I bought this to try out since it has the money-back satisfaction guarantee. It smells so unbelievably wonderful! Like literally opening a jar of blueberry jam. Be careful if you have kids, they may mistake this for food and try to eat it! The consistency is a bit gelatinous with lots of seeds. I wet my face, scooped out a bit, and gently scrubbed my face in a circular motion. Usually I let my face cleaner/scrub sit on my face for a minute or two. I couldn't do that with this product, as it started to give an unpleasant burning sensation. Nothing crazy like my face felt like it was on fire, but it was uncomfortable. I had to immediately wash it out. The seeds get stuck in your hairline, so try to not get it close to that area or you will have to be picking the seeds out your hair lol I was sad that I had a reaction to this, as I don't have sensitive skin or had problems with facial cleansers in the past. I contacted customer service who responded quickly and offered me a choice of an alternative product free, or a complete refund. Even though the product didn't work for me, it might for you. Since you really have nothing to lose, you should try it out if you are interested. I only took off one star since I couldn't use it, their great customer service is what warrants the 4-star review.

Oh my goodness! I'm 24 years old, and since I was a tween I always purchased Neutrogena or other products for my skin; they always dried my skin or made it way too oily - obviously making my acne prone skin break out even more. I even tried Proactive and it didn't seem to help. I have consistently struggled with larger pores. When I was 20, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. At that point, my skin was extremely dry or would dry out very easily with even the most gentle of facial cleansers. I also had an uneven tone to my skin. I purchased this product about a week ago to give it a shot considering how much praise it was getting and I wanted to try something that was natural and contained anti-oxidants to help bring back color, firmness, and better complexion to my skin. Since that purchase, I've been so happy with the results! My skin is soft and supple, my pores are shrinking in size, and my complexion is starting to improve to a more even tone. I absolutely love the berry smell it leaves on my skin, it isn't too strong or overpowering, and certainly calming. I will definitely be purchasing this product again in the future.I also paired this product with Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel and Biore's Pore Strips.

I really wanted to love this... and I do! It's amazing! I'm a 40 yr old mother of 2 toddlers and get very little time to pamper myself. My hair and skin has really taken a beating since I just don't have much time in the mornings but now that they are getting older and sleeping a bit in the mornings I've decided to try and fix the neglect. And truth be told I AM old enough to be their grandmother and have been so scared of the day when someone mistakenly asks if they are my grandkids. This stuff goes on so nicely and you don't need much to get the job done. It's a very soft scrub material so nothing like that apricot scrub from the drugstore that is so rough. The part that really sold me was once I rinsed it all off my skin was so soft! I know with other scrubs I have used in the past they were almost drying and just not pleasant at all. The smell is delicious too- light and fruity. No doubt this will be something I plan on ordering again.

I have been using this for a couple weeks now and I think it is great. I haven't noticed a major change in my skin, however you can definitely tell this scrub deep cleans your skin. Its leaves your face feeling fresher and softer. Some people mentioned that it left their faces red- but I have extremely sensitive skin and mild eczema and did not have any problem with irritation using this. The redness is because it's a scrub, so it is a little rougher on your face but it's removing all the dirt and dead skin. Its not designed to use every day. I use this 1 to 2 times per week. If you wear a lot of makeup you may be able to use it more often, I just don't use much on my face and don't have a problem with it being overly dirty.

I haven't had this very long but I have been using it every morning before hitting the gym. I love blueberries but this smells terrible and I cant shake it. I still continue to put this on my face in the hopes it will help my complexion. I have noticed that I have been breaking out more, especially along my side burn hairline. I have never had a problem with any other face wash, and I use the St Ives face wash after the gym due to its more abrasive quality- I like that after the gym to get all the set on sweat off my face. I just use this to take the "sleep dirt"- oil and such off in the morning. I cant sat at this moment if I Do or Do NOT like it, I am leaning more towards DO NOT, But I will give it a few more try's. The smell is not what you would expect though honestly.
