Question 1

This may sound silly, but does it cook well if it is a cloudy day?

Bright sunlight is best of course.  Scatter clouds type conditions are OK, I monitor the temperature. I want to keep it around 190 degrees (slow cooker conditions) or higher.  When the temperature drops below180 degrees or so, I transfer the cooking to my toaster oven.  Overcast days (no shadows) will not work, hence the device name "Sun Oven".  Actually,  I have found the Sun Oven works great during the winter under clear skies and low humidity conditions.  I really like using my oven.  It cooks better than the conventional oven because you can over cook something by hours and the meat is still moist.

Question 2

Both plastic "E-Z Sun-track indicators" have fallen off the glass on my 1 year old oven. How do you reattach them?

You can reapply the indicators with silicone.  Make sure the glass and indicators are clean and dry, then after reattaching the indicators make sure you let the silicone dry for 1-2 days before using the oven.

Question 3

What are the dimensions of the cooking area?  Just wondering what will or won't fit in for cooking.

I am not able to measure it at the moment, so I am glad that someone else could. I often use a standard sized cast iron dutch oven.  Also my smaller roasting pan with 4 sweet potatoes fits.  Oh and a 10" cast iron skillet fits just fine.

Question 4

How bug/rodent/pet resistant is this oven?

I would say that once the door is shut it is pretty much tightly closed/sealed. A rodent would not be able to get in and I doubt if there is anyway for bugs to get in. Besides, when it is in the sun, it is very hot. That alone would keep things away, you need a mitt on your hand to open the door.
