VOX SDC-1 Mini Guitar-Black, Right, BK

Love this guitar. I will say the fret ends were sharp and the frets a little rough. I pulled off the neck, polished the frets and rolled the edges. I also put a clear coat on the head stock to give it a better look. I also bought mine on sale at GC for $175. Probably wouldn't have bought it for$220. Overall off the shelf I'd give it 3 stars.

Very well made guitar. Simultaneously cool and cute.Excellent pickups and controls. Retains brightness down to the lowest volume level. Tone Starts to roll off about 6 then tapers off nicely to reach a good mid peak in frequency with the capacitor fully engaged.You will need to string this guitar with heavy strings to get the right tension and intonation. I went with dunlop heavy core 12 - 54. With so little tension on the strings you will really need to yank on them to give them a good pre stretch; so as to lock into proper pitch easier. Also, please don't blame the guitar if you don't adjust the saddles properly; it is a much smaller scale, so every increment counts.

Gorgeous little guitar, with the proud Vox name. I bought for a travel guitar, and it arrived within 2 days! But it is TINY. The frets are really closely spaced. If someone has thin tiny agile fingers, this would be great. I have small hands, but this is too small to be comfortable. See photo: the Vox on the left is 29", the Dean Evo ( a 7/8 guitar) is 34", and the Squier Strat is 39".

Over all well built. Tuners good. Neck comfortable. The fretwork seemed OK, no sharp edges. The bridge was OK but not I felt high quality. The control knobs turned rather too easily I think. The clean tone was OK but I would have liked the pickup near the neck.For an adult travel guitar, as long as you don't have very large fingers or don't want to play chords up the neck, I thinks its good value. For kids I'm not so sure because the heavy strings may need too much pressure.I sent it back because I decided I didn't need it.

Klein, leicht und handlich. Von VOX als "Reisegitarre" entwickelt. Sehr sauber und ordentlich gearbeitet. Angenehm leicht mit nur 2,1 Kg. Sehr gute, stimmstabile Mechaniken. Kein Spielzeug, dafür aber auch nicht ganz billig. Mit Textil Staub Schutztasche. Ausführliche Test`s gibt es im Net.

Cercavo una chitarra da viaggio e questa è perfetta!Buon legno.. suono ok (sia pulto che distorto..). Molto comoda da suonare, sia in piedi che seduto.Penso non la lascerò mai a casa!! 😊😊

Non pensavo, ma è fatta veramente bene

ヘビー弦使用ですがドロップDチューニングできました。シールド刺す場所が正面のためストレートシールドだと辛い。
