These really do help keep the wind and cold off your face. They are very thin, which is nice but I would not recommend them for temperatures below 20 to 30. Also, the fabric smells REALLY bad after a day of wearing this mask. It does wash nicely though for the next day, but if I had to wear without washing it I don't think I could handle the smell. We had 6 of these and everyone reported the same experience.
