Once you start reading you will find it difficult to put this book down, and once you are finished, you will be moved to action!

Theological, Practical, & Simple
John Perkins & Anthony Bobo did a phenomenal job of writing a book on Christian Community Development that is theologically sound, extremely practical, and very simple. This book can be read, understood, and lived out by people with little education to much education. I'm grateful for this good work and will be starting a Life Group next Thursday in our church that will go through this. Our group is excited about it!

This book gets at what it means to LIVE out the Gospel of Jesus. The Good News includes the work of justice, righteousness and peace by means of social action, hard work, and sacrifice, motivated by the love of God and neighbor. I love how the book contains space to write/journal thoughts/reflections, too!
