They suggested dipping them in hot water but I didn’t so maybe that might help. I didn’t need them so didn’t care too much. The blackout curtains themselves are great though. Thick material. Great for what I wanted it for. As you can see, I just removed the mesh from the window and rested the curtain on top. So it’s in between the mesh and the window.
