I'll begin by stating this product was offered to me to test for free. That will not not bias my review.I have a macbook pro which only has USB-C ports for connectivity but my work requires I use this for 8+ hrs a day as my main desktop. For this reason I choose to hook it up to a large 4k display plus external keyboard/mouse. I also need a webcam and mic for video conferencing as I leave the macbook lid closed.The item arrived in minimal but perfect packaging plus the hub includes a velvet carry case to avoid scratches while transporting it. The device feels well made but light. It is plug and play so no drivers required. I have used it on Catalina v10.15 (macos) and also my wife's Windows 10 Dell Latitude 5200.My connections are a single HDMI to a 32" 4k monitor, Logitech 720p webcam/mic (although I have used a 1080p one), a Logitech K740 keyboard and the Apple supplied power adapter/cable. I use a bluetooth mouse but I tried a wired mouse also and it was fine (as you'd expect). Although the device runs very warm (you could say hot) it has been in constant use for a week with no issues. From experience these hubs always run hot.Last year I was offered a similar hub to test (from a different seller) which had less connectivity but did the job at hand very well. At the time of getting it I had 2x1080p monitors and noted the only downside to that unit was being single headed. Now I have a single 4k monitor I only need the one HDMI connection but this larger model offers dual 4k plus more things that although I do not require may be of interest to some of you.There's an ethernet outlet which may be essential as many laptops have dropped ethernet connectivity in favour of adapters, there's a VGA connector for those with older monitors (you could in theory even have 2x4k monitors plus a VGA monitor hooked up but you should check more closely if this is a requirement) and there's also a full size SD card reader and separate microSD reader.Finally there's a USB-C inlet for power which I believe you will need to use if you are connecting displays otherwise mine will use the screen (same was true of the smaller hub). You could use the hub for keyboard, etc without power though (I think).At my office I have a beefcake of a docking station which you wouldn't want to carry anywhere but is likely going to last longer but it also costs over £150. For the home/mobile user and you requirements fit what I've said then this is a good buy but there are many that look similar so check thoroughly while looking for the best price.

I wanted a dock that could drive two additional monitors (in addition to the HDMI socket on my laptop itself). Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.I used this dock in conjunction with a (high quality) 1 metre USB C extension cable as my USB C socket is on the left hand side of my laptop, and I couldn't leave the dock dangling from the edge of the desk. The good news is that the dock works perfectly with the extension cable.The other cool thing is that the hub comes with a nice pouch, which I think will be super useful if putting it in a laptop case, to stop it from getting scratched.Yes, it's a bit more expensive than other hubs, but it's still super affordable compared to docks of this type historically, and I love that it doesn't need an external power supply either.My setup is as follows:My laptop's own HDMI socket drives monitor one (1920x1200).(one of) the hub's HDMI sockets drives monitor two (1920 x 1080).The hub's VGA connector drives monitor number three (1680 x 1050).Testing the unit, I couldn't drive all three monitors from this dock, as one of the HDMI channels would go to 720 x 576 resolution. I think this is perhaps a bandwidth issue, but it doesn't really matter as 99.9% of laptops come with one HDMI socket of their own.I'm over the moon with this purchase. I think it's a wonderful dock, and having three monitors at my disposal is revelatory.

I have used similar devices to this in the past, this one is far better. Given that a lot of laptops are being manufactured with only USB-C ports a hub like this is a must! This device is compact and contains sufficient ports for everything that you will need. Having used this device it worked straight out of the box no issues or set up required, just simply plug it in and go. Having a single hub with all my devices plugged into it helps with keeping my desk space clear and tidy, helping with cable management. I have been unable to test this device with the triple display advertised due to only having one monitor, however i have tested it with all ports and it displays with no issues.This device will get hot. Something i was not aware of when purchasing similar products in the past but something i had expected with this device. The heat generated by the device is to be expected with do many accessories plugged into it, and is totally normal.I am overall very satisfied with this product and my only criticism of it is the price. Saying that i am unaware of production costs etc. If you have the money to spare i would recommend the purchase!

I have used this for couple days now with 2 x HDMI monitors. Works instantly without any major setup.The dual monitor output works well enough for me. The can support 100W power delivery, so you will have to get a separate power adapter. I purchased a 100W one from Aukey. This will plug straight into the dock via USB C and will subsequently charge your laptop. Very handy!I plug all my wireless and wired peripherals into this too, so no need to plug into the laptop directly.Build quality is very good so far. I'd feel comfortable throwing it in a bag. It does get a bit hot while using it. Hopefully that doesn't reduce the product's lifetime. We shall see.Seems to be very lightweight and thus really good for travelling. Would be nice if the USB-C cable was a bit longer, or perhaps removable so I can switch it out for a longer one when required. Right now I'm using a USB C extension cable, which works perfectly. But I had to buy that separately of course.Overall a good product and I highly recommend it - however first check USB-C Power Delivery compatibility with your laptop before purchasing. Most laptops will be under 100W so you should be fine.

El tema de compartir pantallas no va mal, pero la red se apaga (sí, se desconecta) y se enciende cada dos por tres. No vale para trabajar a gusto. Les he enviado un email y no contestan. Lo devuelvo, ya encontraré uno que funcione como debe y at6iendan a sus clientes si les hace falta.

Great item hooking up to my work laptop. Some of the other reviews had me a lil skeptical but I took a chance and I am glad that I did. WFH has been challenging since Covid-19 but this lil gadget made my life much easier and it was easy to install. Plus it was a lot cheaper than many of the brand names.

Il fonctionne bien, du moins quand il accepte d'être alimenté : la prise USB C est très capricieuse et oblige à tordre et coincer le câble d'alimentation USB C (testé avec 2 câbles très différents et qui fonctionnent sans souci de leur côté).

Mit dem "loben" von Chinaartikeln ist es immer so eine Sache. Da hat jeder schon so seine eigenen Erfahrungen gemacht denke ich. Bei dem USB C Hub hier muss ich allerdings ganz klar Kante zeigen und für die Preisklasse ein fettes Lob gegenüber dem Hersteller aussprechen. Ich habe von Arbeitswegen mehrere Adapter/Hubs in Nutzung und dieser gehört absolut zu den alltagstauglichsten HUB's am Markt (Beste Lasttestergebnisse).Ich hatte mir allein im letzten Jahr insgesamt 5 Adapter bestellt und mich letztendlich zusätzlich für diesen hier entschieden. Grund war letztlich ganz einfach. Die anderen Modelle konnten nicht mit mehreren Komponenten parallel betrieben werden ohne dauernd abzustürzen bzw. Verbindungsabbrüche en Masse zu erzeugen. Dieser hier kann tatsächlich mit sämtlichen Slots (HDMI- und VGA-Anschlüsse) benutzt werden. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist wie bereits beschrieben die Lesegeschwindigkeit, diese ist etwas langsamer als z. B. beim Modell von Satechi oder Kamtron Hubs. Die Wärmeableitung ist besser als bei vorgenantem HUB und bleibt im Bereich von unter 30 Grad auch nach längerem Betrieb.Zur Optik/Haptik:Der Adapter sieht ordentlich und auch hochwertig aus keine Scharfen Kanten, saubere Verarbeitung. Ultraleicht, dazu leicht aufgeraute Oberfläche und die einzelnen Slots auf der Vorder- und Rückseite sind klar definiert bzw. deklariert und ohne Probleme nutzbar. Bei Nichtnutzung des Adapters z. B. bei Transport etc. empfehle ich ihn definitiv zu demontieren.Beim Anschluss:Der USB C Hub wird sofort erkannt und ohne jedes Problem. Anschlusstechnisch ist Alles passgenau und gut!Im Betrieb wird der Adapter wie beschrieben nur mäßig warm, sogarwenn man mehrere Slots zeitgleich nutzt.Ebenfalls nicht Unwichtig: Der Adapter verfügt über sämtliche erfoderlichen Zertifizierungen wie RoHS, CE und Co.Fazit: Von der Lesegeschwindigkeit mit SD Karten abgesehen ein guter und sehr zuverl#ssiger USB-C-Hub für den Alltagsgebrauch absolut gut geeignet.Bei dem derzeit recht ordentlichen Preis für mich eine glatte 5 Sterne Wertung, da er vom reinen Betrieb her eine Menge Möglichkeiten in einem verbindet.
