    Delicious and essential!

This sauce is incredibly scrumptious.  I used to be able to get it at several local grocery stores but have been unable to find it lately, so I'm very happy to see it on Amazon.  My favorite way to use it is to make 1 1/2 cups (dry) of basmati rice in a rice cooker with water, 1/3 cup of golden raisins, 1/2 stick of cinnamon, whole cloves, cardamom pods, etc.  when done, I pick out the cinnamon stick, cloves, and pods, then mix with 1/2 jar of Mr. Kooks biryani sauce.  (The rice should be coated with the sauce, but not too 'saucy'.) In the meantime I bake chicken legs or thighs seasoned with garlic salt until about 2/3 done.  I melt a tablespon of coconut oil (or use some of the chicken fat) in a cast iron dutch oven and swirl it around to coat the bottom and sides.  Then I dump in the rice, arrange the chicken on top, and brush some more sauce on the chicken.  Cover and bake on bottom rack at 350 for about 45 minutes until the rice has a nice brown crust on the bottom and sides.  Serve with warm naan and a salad if you want to go to that much trouble.  Comfort food at its best!
