Schellenberg 50714 Fly Screen, Insect, Mosquito Protection for Windows – Various Sizes, White, 130x150cm

This is basically a piece of netting you cut to size, plus some sticky velcro tape you peel the backing off and stick to the window frame. The netting just pushes onto the velcro. This has finally solved the problem of insects entering my son's bedroom. So many things we tried failed because they simply wouldn't stick to the frame - the wind blowing in just made them fall off. The sticky velcro tape supplied with this is really good stuff. It has kept the netting in place for some weeks now. Would definitely recommend.

Ich habe einen großen Balkon. 2x Fenster, 2 x Balkontür. Sonnenseite! Seit letzten Herbst habe ich echt Probleme mit diesen "Stinkekäfern". Diese Käfer sonnen sich an meiner Hauswand und.... sobald es kühler wird: "Hey Jungs, laßt uns rein gehen! Da ist noch warm" Das war echt wie Pandorras Büchse! Ende vom Lied war: Ich hab gar ned mehr aufgemacht. Mein Problrem ist auch: Ich habe Holzfenster und ganz knapp außen geht auch der Rolladen vorbei. Also nix: Rahmen mit Fenstergitter dagegen klemmen! Einfach nicht genug Platz dafür. Hab jetzt von an den Fenstern die Klettklebestreifen aufgeklebt aufs Holz. (Dachte das hält nie im Leben!) Doch tut es! Hab noch in jede Ecke einen Reisnagel reingehauen! Dieses Gitter geht nirgens mehr hin! 'Und: Diese Dreckskäfer bleiben jetzt drausen!!! 'Ist zwar nicht von Thesa, idst mir auch egal! Hält bis jetzt bombenfest, auch ohne Reisnägel und... tut seinen Zweck! Hab den Kauf nicht bereut!

The netting is great, but the sticking-strips are very narrow and don't really hold the netting on very securely unfortunately. So I buy velcro tape 1/2" separately and use this to stick on my window before applying the netting. Shame as the netting, and the idea, is great, and I still wouldn't be without it, in spite of having to improvise with the velcro.

I bought this prior to the UK heat wave we've just experienced, and set it up so that we could have our bedroom window open without unwanted pests getting in. So far it's working very well. Do be careful if you use the supplied craft knife to cut the netting to size though. It seems to be best to follow their instructions and hang it off the velcro tape, but make sure you're pulling the netting away from the window when cutting to avoid damaging the frame. The edge may end up looking a bit messy, but personally I'm not bothered by this. I plan to take the netting down after summer and leave the velcro tap on the frame until it's next needed.

Also dieses Fliegengitter ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen!Hier die Gründe:1. Das Fliegengitter hat irrsinnig viele Falten, somit sieht man jetzt eigentlich nur die wenn man aus dem Fenster sieht, ich hoffe das legt sich noch.2. Ein Produktionsfehler (Naht) ist mitten im Sichtfeld (siehe Foto).3. Das mitgelieferte Messer (siehte Foto) ist komplett stumpf und bringt absolut NICHTS, ausser man steht drauf sich zu ärgern, dann ists top denn man reisst sich nach mühsamen anbringen, wieder alles runter. Ich empfehle eine Schere.4. Das Klebeband hat alle paar Cm einen Knick drinnen, kann sich jemand vorstellen warum mich das ärgert? Genau! Weils somit auch alle paar Cm einreißt!Durch meine Insektenphobie hab ich schon unzähliche Fliegengitter angebracht und das ist mit Sicherheit das schlechteste unter allen!Ein Plus gibts und deshalb auch den Stern: es ist ein Fliegengitter.

I paid a bit more for this as it was an add on item but I'm so glad I did. It's so much better quality than the cheaper stuff I used on our other windows and has gone on really securely (the cheap stuff lifted off quite quickly).

Das Fliegengitter kam wie erwartet blitzschnell an und ich konnte es ohne Probleme anbringen.Bei mir hält das Klettband bisher ohne Probleme - ich habe den Rahmen vor dem Anbringen erst mit Küchenpapier und anschließend mit dem beiliegenden Reinigungstuch gereinigt und nach dem Ankleben des Kletts eine halbe Stunde gewartet, bevor ich das Fliegengitter angebracht habe.Mit dem ebenfalls mitgelieferten Messer (an dieser Stelle ein großes Lob dafür, man braucht kein anderes Equipment, da alles mitgeliefert wird!) konnte ich das Gitter leicht zurecht schneiden.Es hält jetzt seit 2 Wochen bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung und das Klett macht nicht den Anschein, als würde es sich in nächster Zeit lösen.Fazit: für die restlichen Fenster im Haus sind bereits diese Gitter bestellt!Edit:Vorgestern kamen die anderen Fliegengitter an. Was mir aufgefallen ist ist, dass scheinbar verschiedene Klettbänder mitgeliefert werden. So war in meiner ersten Bestellung ein weißes Klettband mit kleinen Noppen (ohne Halen) enthalten, in den übrigen lag ein etwas längeres, durchsichtiges Band mit kleinen Widerhaken bei.Ich habe den Eindruck, dass seltsamerweise das Fliegengitter besser an dem Band ohne Widerhaken hält.

I only wanted to do a small window but got loads of fabric and tape so can do many. Takes about 15 mins to set up the window but worth it for peace at night. Contact is good between frame, tape and fabric and can gently lift up if I want to close the window.

Hält was es verspricht, kaufe diese Marke schon lange Jahre. Sehr gutes Material und feinmaschig.Da ich öfter umgezogen bin brauchte ich manchmal andere Größen, ansonsten konnte ich die Alten problemlos an andere Fenster einsetzen.Selbst nach Waschen (im Waschbecken mit Lauge kurz einweichen, auswaschen, fertig) bleibt das Material fest und lässt sich anstandslos wieder anbringen.Die Kleberolle hält ewig und sollte es dennoch mal abgehen, kann man diese sehr günstig in allen Märkten kaufen. Brauchte ich bisher noch nie und ich wohne seit 8 Jahren in derselben Wohnung.Meine Empfehlung!

Did a fantastic job over the summer and still up on windows now December. Although slightly dirty would definitely recommend this, infact im going to order more today

Cannot live without these in the summer to stop slys and wasps coming through the open windows. So easy to fit.

Really easy to put up, and comes with all you need. The velcro that comes with it is made specifically for the netting's size so it grabs it really well.

Good product but the netting does not stick well so you need to either sew it on or super glue it.

does what it says on the packet. . But sometimes needs to be re-fixed to the Velcro. Not noticeable when in place. will probably buy some more..
