Amazon Essentials Women's Lightweight Waffle Full-Length Bath Robe (Available in Plus Size)

This robe was just what I was looking for as a "summer robe". Its light weight, and a modest length that hits at my knees (I'm 5'2", 112 lbs). Size M was recommended, and its roomy, but not too big. Small might have been a little too small.

Appearance:I purchased the gray color and it looks exactly like the photos. The waffle texture gives it a nice, upscale look compared to a basic robe.Fit & Quality:The fit is fantastic—comfortable without feeling oversized or bulky. The material is lightweight yet cozy enough for lounging around the house. I especially love that it has both an inside tie and an outer belt. The extra tie keeps everything secure and prevents the robe from shifting around.Real-Life Use:The pockets are incredibly useful and large enough for my phone and other small items. I’ve worn this robe regularly and washed it several times with my normal laundry. It has not shrunk, stretched out, faded, or lost its shape. Another thing I appreciate is that it never developed any strange odor after washing or repeated use.Final Opinion:This robe exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s comfortable, practical, flattering, and durable. The waffle texture, secure ties, roomy pockets, and easy care make it feel much more expensive than the price suggests. If you’re looking for a lightweight robe that actually holds up over time, this one is absolutely worth purchasing.

For reference, I'm 5'5" and weight about 126 lbs...60 yrs old and getting thick through the middle compared to my younger days. Amazon recommended a size Medium to me. After reading reviews, I opted for a size Small. Interestingly, the small was far too big for me, through the middle, and even the way the shoulder seams fell. So I returned for a size X-Small, and it fits the way I prefer. So do keep in mind that these robes are very roomy - great if you like a lot of gathering...not great if you prefer a slightly more fitted look. Size down if in doubt would be my suggestion.I haven't washed my robe yet. I'm hoping it will soften up a bit after a trip or two through the laundry. It's not itchy or uncomfortable, just a bit stiff-ish right now. I wish the sleeves were 3/4 length rather than full length, especially since it's a lighter weight robe, but many probably appreciate the full length sleeves.I originally ordered the teal-ish color and the grey, and both had decent coverage. If it softens up after laundering, I will probably order another in the light blue, if they get the X-Smalls back in stock...

PERFECT!! Sizing and Construction: Excellent. Fabric inside is smooth and snuggly without being heavy. Outer texture is pleasant to touch and stylish. Piping trim is a nice detail. A definite BUY!Previous robes were large heavy terry. This is so much better and just easier to wear, launder, even just hanging in my bathroom it's great.

My favorite robe so far! I love walking around my home with just robes majority of the time. I have 3 boys and a very cuddly dog to keep up with at home. This robes keeps me securely covered when moving around the house, bending over, or putting the boys to sleep. The dog hair doesn’t stick to it either. It’s very breathable material so it keeps my body temperature perfect and my skin doesn’t react negatively to the material. Yesterday I forgot my bath towel and just threw the robe on, it absorbed the moisture and dried up almost better than a towel the entire time I wore it.As a massage therapist of 10+ years, I would definitely gift this to a client or even recommend it to any spa location or business where clients use robes as part of their routine. Very light weight and easy to wash and dry so the laundry load and weight is less which would save the business money when using laundry services.

Exactly what I was looking for! Fits true to size, feels light but not too thin, and it includes an extra tie on the inside to help keep each side secured in place. Great option, especially for the price!

I am a size 14, 5'9, pretty busty, with long legs and arms and a short torso. I bought an XL. The arms are very short, and when I sit down, there isn't enough fabric to cover my butt without constantly pulling it down.It also has a very, very strong chemical smell. There's no readily apparent material defects, but the fabric is very thin, and the inside tie is just a piece of ribbon. Pretty low quality.I'm on the fence as to whether to return it; it was only about $12 when I bought it (on sale).

Nice Lightweight Robe. I bought this for use while I am on vacation. I am always freezing when getting out of the pool or nice to have when camping and trying to get dressed in the shower house. It washes nice. True to size. Good material and large enough to cover with the tie closure that is included. Just enough stretch and shouldn't shrink.

I only wear it for a few minutes each time I have finished showering and need to stay warm while I wipe the shower door and walls.It is soft, comfortable and dries fast enough after I hang it to dry.One advice : Sizes seem to run large.I'm 5'5 F. 120 pounds and usually wear size Medium. I first ordered a Small and it was way too big for me! I returned it and ordered Xsmall and it fits just well, but a bit long. I have long legs and this bath robe runs down under my knees.

I bought a extra small because I’m 5ft tall and it was a bit big so I washed it and put it in the dryer it’s shrunk a bit, which made it perfect size.The material is nice not to heavy and not too light

Very happy with this purchase. Bought to take to the hospital for bubs birth and with so much stuff to pack I wanted a gown that didn’t take up too much space in my hospital bag. It’s also a great length for me at 163cm. Have worn and washed a few times now and the fabric has not shrunk or changed shaped.
