The how or why not to change
Change is a fact of life in every leaders life. There are so many changes that we must lead or be part in and at times it feels overwhelming. This is a book written by someone who is lives I the same are that the book is addressing. Carey is a great leader and pastor who deals himself with change daily. It shows in the writing of this book that he deals with it and has given great thought to the best Biblical ways to see change happen.I would recommend this short and fast read to anyone who is looking for help in creating their own filter to run changes through. Or anyone who wants to feel support in how long and hard seeing change can be.

Reaching or Keeping? How to decide the correct formula.
A great read for those in church work today. Pastors must lead change with the same tenacity as the CEO of a large company. His only drawback is that pastors want to keep everyone. That's what pastors do. Nieuwhof presents a great five-step plan to leading change. Change includes losing some and reaching more.

Great book, great price, great author. Fantastic and quick read!
This book clearly laid out a method for finding and fixing issues in the change that you will try to lead in your church. Carey was very helpful and hit the nail on the head with some change I have already introduced and i was capable of agreeing with most of what he said. Not only would i recommend this to my friends in ministry, I have recommended it to my friends in ministry. Also, shoutout to his podcast on iTunes.

Great book.
Concise practical advice without trying to provide answers. Highly recommend to anyone not church planting but rather working to effect change within the context of a traditional parish.

Learning to be fearless in change
This book has been extremely helpful as our church's leadership team has been navigating through a 3-year process of efforts to not only survive but to thrive. The changes that were needed and have been made has required our team to keep our eyes on God and be fearless in our pursuit of the needed changes. Carey Nieuwhof has an exceptional insight not just by word, but by living through it himself.

Must read for culture changing church leaders
Simple, practice, and from experience. I love church planting and church planter, but I don’t want to watch churches die. I believe this book will prove pivotal in my next years of ministry.

Great thoughts on leading change in the church
Great thoughts on leading change in the church. Wish I had read the book a year ago as we saw many of the points listed in the book played out before our eyes. Gives wonderful suggestions on how to walk through the challenges of change.

Great book on a very particular topic
With plenty of books advocating the essential practice on Church Planting, there are relatively few on leading a church through a process of change for the purposes of mission. This book (the first of three) is how to lead change when there is apparent opposition within the organisation to the proposed change. I'm certainly not an expert in this, but the five strategies he offers seem good to me.Carey explains his strategies in a thoroughly engaging way with plenty of examples and stories - it is certainly not a wooden dry book. His basis biblically is a few episodes in Numbers where Moses is leading the Israelites through he wilderness. Carey's experience clearly is conveyed making this a well grounded book.Everyone who seeks to bring about change will face opposition. Therefore, I would heartily recommend this book to any who are leading a church and seeking to revitalise for missional purposes. It really is a great read and very helpful.
