I am not working and really have to watch my pennies. That doesn't mean that I would accept poor quality. These underpants are well made, seem to be good quality materials and have lasted through many washings/dryings from May to now early November. I didn't want to write a review until I knew if they had a "reasonable life span". I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again. HOWEVER - when this package arrived, it was in a mailing bag. Inside were the underpants and a plastic bag. The underpants not only were NOT inside the plastic bag but they REEKED of perfume. It would appear that they were resold. I will certainly wash them before I wear them but it feels a bit odd to get "new" underpants that someone else apparently had close enough to her body to transfer a LOT of aroma! When I get past the creep factor, I'm quite happy with the purchase. I HATE wedgies and these are snug enough there's no wedgie, but not so snug they cut off circulation. I have just a little junk in the trunk and must have weird butt cheeks that are like too full/round/large or something because almost all other underwear I try give me wedgies. Victoria's secret's lowrise hiphuggers used to do the trick, but they've changed them and now they are too thin and junk, they are just not the same anymore. These are WAY better and for a much better price. I will keep buying these until the end of my days. I'm 5'6, weigh about 130 and wear size 7/8'ish in pants. I wear a medium in these and they are perfect. I just wish they had more color combo choices. Every set seems to come with solid black and/or white, and I now have 5 pairs of solid black and white, and 3 pairs of solid blue. I wish they had more design only combos.
