Berkley Vanish Fluorocarbon Fishing Line/Leader Material

Purchased to use for making bracelets and various beading crafts, it works awesome! Holds up and it has yet to break on me, easy to knot and to cut. Very thin but definitely sturdy

Great quality line. I’ve yet pushed the limits to the 4 lb line I brought but it definitely helps getting more finicky fish to bite with it being very hard for them to see. Going to test the strength using cheaper lures/bait soon and I’ll update this review if it doesn’t hold up. Cast performance is excellent with any knot. Very easy to use so long as you spoil it onto your reel correctly.

Great product that was delivered one day earlier. My only complaint was the paper package envelop was delivered tossed on our front yard grass instead of normally 3' away at the side of our garage under the eaves where it is protected. This is on a day where we are under a hurricane watch with flash flood warnings and the package was soaked. Luckily it was only fishing line but the driver should use common sense. But the product is excellent, just the delivery sucks.

Great line for casting smaller baits also

I don’t use fluorocarbon as my main line. I only use it as a leader. I used 4 lb vanish as a leader for 2 lb Trout Magnet SOS line and 6 lb KastKing Flurokote. Of least the 4 lb version is great. It’s strong and works very well with standard uni knots and loop knots. I haven’t had a single problem with the knots or the line and have caught between 10 and 15 blue gill. There are some negative reviews out there with regard to vanish, but I have pulled lots of branches out of the pond without incident and caught many more fish than usual. This stuff and trout magnet SOS are great finds. I don’t know how it behaves as a main line, but I can testify to the strength and abrasion resistance of the vanish and I would not be a fan of any pure fluorocarbon as a main line.

I normally use Segar which is top of the line line. This Berkley works as well at half the price.

I’ve used trilene for years and loved it! Now that I tried Vanish, wow! I like it even more! . Sometimes goes on sale, try it, you will be glad you did!

I have used Berkley vanish a lot. This small 4 lb line spool was perfect for trout in clear water.

Una linea para pescar muy buena, con buena resistencia y desempeño en el agua. Considera el tamaño de tu carrete antes de comprar la de 110yds ya que si el spool de tu carrete es de mediano a tendrás que colocar una cama de linea antes de cargarle esta, en mi caso fue para cargar un carrete chico para pesca Ultra Ligth y fue la cantidad exacta de linea. Otro uso que le doy es para los lideres en la pesca con mosca. Muy recomendable.

Don't buy this line. Worst line I've seen. I spooled it up and when I went to tie a knot I found it had rough frayed areas every few feet. You can feel them running the line through your fingers. No strength at all. Must be production failure.
