Hand wash only.
The wood finish melts off when you run it through the dishwasher, which makes the wood look dingy and dark. Also I received a set with one spoon a pale tan and the rest the color described on the webpage. I didn't want to bother returning the whole set because one spoon was a lighter color wood than advertised but I kinda wish I did. As long as you wash them PROPERLY after each use they are great spoons for all nonstick pots and pans. Now I know they are hand wash only.
