That's because the model wearing the hat didn't have it shipped in a small bag. When I opened the small plastic envelope I found the hat folded into quarters and I'm pretty sure a fat elephant was sitting on it from China all the way to my house. The creases in the brim were indeed permanent. No Instructions for care were included. No tag to let me know if the material might give me an allergic reaction. The only writing on the hat and inside the shipping bag was "Made In China." I'm returning the hat. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Caution: Very floppy hat. Adjustable head band and chin strap. The removable top flap is a really nice feature so you can choose between rain protection and warmth or coolness and air flow. I posted a pic with the cover on and one with the cover removed.It does come folded and creased, but so does every other similar hat your order (I know because I ordered three other brands to try). The creases came out beautifully with some steaming. Should definitely not be a deal breaker.The sizing is a little inconsistent. I ordered the light gray and the khaki. The light gray was too tight for my husband's 23" noggin, but the khaki was a bit looser and fit him well. A word of caution if you have a larger head. If you have a small head, you may find the 'bucket' of the hat to be a bit loose/baggy, even if you adjust the strap to make the band fit snugly.All in all, I'd really recommend this hat if you're looking for a lightweight, crushable, quick-drying hat with good protection.
