It is the advertised nose stud with no back. The stud has a small ball on the end that keeps it in your nose. The post of the stud is pretty long though.

Is the jewelry surgical steel?

It says it is. So hopefully it really is.

Does the cubic zirconia part twist off for easy changing? not gonna lie i pierced my nose a few times with this before i thought about changing it out
