This IR thermometer is fast to respond and reliable. I use to gauge the temperature of my pizza oven at temperatures between 400 F and 700 F. It replaces a cheap IR thermometer that was very slow to respond to high temperatures and was untrustworthy. This unit works well.

We used this brand at work and always very reliable. Glad to have one for my wife to use for her cooking and baking. And i’ll use it for camping and checking temp on my camper tires

Really dumb design on the battery cover. A small phillips head screw has to be unscrewed, (why not a thumbscrew?), the screw is not captive, and is small, and would be very easy to lose.While removing a battery and putting another one in, I managed to make the battery door come off completely, and it was a bit of a fiddle to reconnect it.I always take the batteries out of things like this which I don't use on a daily basis, because I have had so many tools ruined by leaky batteries. Admittedly 9v batteries don't leak as often as AA's etc.In this case I installed a rechargeable battery instead.Functionally the tool seems fine, which I would expect for the price and brand association, hence only one star deducted for stupid design.

La pistola súper bien pero la batería venía completamente descargada.
