The blade came bent and the handle snapped right off trying to correct that. Letter open is a lie, I have used shaper hammers. Don’t buy!

Nice look, but had a weakness
This letter opener/sword arrived well packaged and looks great. Unfortunately, the handle broke off when my son tried to use it to open a box like a utility knife. While this was an unorthodox method and not what it was intended for, I thought that it should have taken the strain. That being said, it is a nice and well detailed collectors item. I still recommend it, just be careful with it.
