Do a search for short scale strings. **Q: Does the coating dampen the effects of pinch harmonics? I use harmonics a lot and don't want to lessen that ability.** A: Not at all. The coating is sorta like when aluminum is anodized. Not like other strings with actual coatings on them. I used them on my Roscoe 5 for several years and now on my Spector NS2 for the last 5 years. DR makes the best strings. The feel of these is very similar to the Sunbeams. **Q: Have you actually ever played a guitar? How can you sell such a nasty product?
