Good prices- this bird mixture is liked by sparrows, robins, doves, etc. Only the maize is fully wasted as no bird is interested in it. Would have been great to get a mixture without the maize but I am happy that since switching to this feed finally the robins and sparrows started coming to my garden feeder- they didn't seem to like any of the previous feeds I bought.

less grain and more suet pellets would be nice.

This item arrived on time and was well packaged but i posted a seller review a few days later and pointed out that the contents were far less colourful than advertised and that the birds had refused to eat it.However, since then i am glad to report that i am now having to refill the feeder on a daily basis as my feathered friends have suddenly decided they cannot get enough of this obviously tasty mix.it looks as if i will be re-ordering this product from Gardeners Dream after all. I am so pleased.

I found it amusing because a good mix of seeds, and when I spread the mixture of seed there was just one type of seed the birds did not touch, they were so clever leaving this one type of seed. it was a slightly longer split seed.So funny, they ate the rest of them.

Nothing like the photo of the product. Looks like most of it is grass seed or similar. Definitely will not be buying this supposedly good quality seed mix again :(

I have been buying Gardeners' Dream wild bird food for quite some time and this would appear to be a premium (and more expensive) version of the version that I normally get. Certainly the birds appear to like it better than the cheaper version and they are eating it voraciously (although sunflower hearts are still the favourite). There appears to be little wastage with only the husks being discarded, resulting in less mess. As it is currently late December, it is too early to say whether the seed is "no grow". Come spring time I will be able to see whether fallen seeds have sprouted. If I remember, I will report back then. In the meantime I am pleased with this seed and would buy it again.

This is my second order of this bird food and I'm extremely disappointed as there is a very high proportion of wheat (husk on) which the small garden birds just can't eat so they spit it out onto the ground for the rats.The previous bag I had didn't have this issue so can only assume that the manufacturer has changed the ingredients to make it more profitable for them. I paid the extra for this sack as I believed it to be worth it. I no longer think so.I would return it, but it was decanted into the feed bins before I'd had a chance to check the quality.If you order it, take a good look at the ingredients before opening the sack.I'm hoping it's just a duff batch. I won't be buying more of this one sadly.
