Very robust and do exactly whats required of them
Purchased specifically for my bed, these risers do their job suberbly well. Just sitting on the edge of the bed after they were fitted immediately proved how effective they are, as rising to my feet again was blissfully easy compared to previously. Their main benefit is when getting up in a morning obviously which was becoming a real and quite painful chore. Thats now a pain of the past! They are made out of very tough plastic, and are actually quite large, the apature to contain the leg/foot end is quite big so should fit most. I was lucky insofar as my bed legs are square and quite thick. They fitted into the risers as if made to measure. You recieve 8 risers in the package, each 2" high and designed to fit together to double the potential height the bed can be raised. And they fit together perfectly. I used them in this way (doubled up), and they do their job without issue. I even imagine I sleep more comfortably, though I hardly think this can be attributed to the risers!Fitting them onto the bed was relatively easy once I'd removed the mattress (I wouldn't contemplate the job with the mattress still in place). I am in my seventies and managed the king-size bed alone and relatively easily.I am so pleased I am contemplating getting a further set for my settee. These days its getting to be a similar struggle getting up out of it!
