I invested in a cheap epoxy my first go around and it left a yellow residue within the resin. With Art Resin, there is only a clear gloss finish afterwards if taken the right precautions before and after a pour. I've done a table, a charcuterie board, and resin tray. Did I mention it's food safe? I've done keychains as well and used flowers. It has a slow cure which gives a good 40 minutes to work with before it becomes tacky. And since it's a slower cure, it's more sensitive to flowers and other projects. But if you're new at epoxy resin and want to do keychains and other small things, invest in a pressure pot(like from harbor freight) to create the perfect cast. My projects are crystal clear because of Art Resin.

After using this stuff, I realized I must have been buying crap epoxy in the past. I refinished my small outdoor fish stream/pond. After applying coats of rubber, primer and paint, I finished it off with a couple of coats of the ArtResin epoxy. The resin gave it a porcelain like finish. (see pics) It gives you plenty of work time (45 minutes), goes on great and doesn't run, if mixed and applied properly. The hardest part was the mixing - three minutes doesn't sound like a long time unless your standing in the hot sun with stir stick in hand. It is not the cheapest resin you can buy however over the years I've used 20+ types and brands of epoxy and this is certainly the best I have ever used. Waiting to see how long it remains clear before yellowing, as with all resins.

I have been using this resin for many years. Consider it the best. Art Resin is worth the money but the last 2 gallon order I received is not mixing properly. Resin is not hardening to cure. I used the 2 gallons on a large project and had to throw my work away. Did not cure. Was very disappointed. Still ordered another 2 gallon but won’t be paying for the last order. Hope it was just in this order. I love this resin but all my work was ruined because it did not cure. Thank you.

I like this resin! I've always used the envirotex lite brand. I just poured a couple panels with photos and they seemed to turn out really good! There's something different about this stuff. The most obvious is the smell. It hardly has any odor. Even though it has the same consistency and mixing qualities as envirotex the final cured product seems smoother and more glass like. I'm preparing for my first art show in the coming months and I'm using this resin! It's expensive but in line with other brands. I've found the best!!!!!

I have bought 2 gallons of ArtResin at the end of June and received it on September (2.5 months), because it was shipped to Armenia. Everything was OK. I have used it on my first print (45sm x 30sm) and the results impressed me except the dust. But it was my fault. After a month I have solved the problem with the dust in the working room and prepared another piece of work (170sm x 60sm) to add the resin on it. The results not satisfied me at all, because of millions of tiny bubbles. The product description is stating that the bubbles will exit automatically, but even after using the butane torch, I had not a chance to fight all of them. Also there were shadows and discolorations on the paper but they were gone after 2 days. After 15 days (the hardener already changed the color to amber/yellow) I have prepared another copy of the piece (170sm x 60sm) and added the resin on it. This time we have used two butane torches in order to remove all the bubbles from the resin but with no results. You can see the bubbles and shadows on the photos provided. After all these fails I didn't give up. I have read all articles on their website, watched all videos and tutorials available. After that I have prepared another copy with the same sizes, but this time I have sealed the paper, as recommended in the articles and tutorial videos on their website. In a result after adding the resin (both components already changed the color to amber/yellow) I have received the millions of bubbles and the same type of shadows again. But this time the shadows does not gone. I have decided to write them and ask to help me with my problem. Also I have asked where I can find the production or expiration dates on the product. The answer was that there are no dates on the product but they can assure (only words) that the product is fresh and new. They also have copied some texts from the articles of their site and answered me about bubbles, and added that If I provide the proof of purchase and the photos of yellowed product they will replace the hardener. But I do not want the hardener to be replaced, I need a solution to my problem. I can spent gallons of the resin but wit no success if I don't find the solution. I was not lazy, created and sent them all necessary photos, provided as much information as possible (even environment statistics, including air quality, temperature, humidity) to help them find a solution. Instead of it they have decided to ignore my messages and keep unanswered. I'm waiting for their response weeks and with no results. After analyzing all my tryouts and fails I have decided that the product was OLD because it has been changed the color during 1.5-2 months after opening. The paper I have used is the highest quality: Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic 340 gsm, Hahnemühle Daguerre Canvas 400 gsm, Canson Infinity Baryta Prestige 340gsm. I have spoiled 3 pieces of my Limited Edition prints (170x60sm) and a small piece (45x30sm), dibond panels for them, 2 gallons of ArtResin's epoxy, adhesives (3M Scotch Photo Mount), sealants (Hahnemühle varnish Satin) and the time which is the most expensive resource I have wasted. And all this is due to the fact that the production date on the product is not specified. I have bought an OLD product. May be the small sized bottles of the ArtResin's epoxy resin are fresh, but my 2 gallons of ArtResin was old and they are ignored my request on support and finding a solution, because they are sure that I'm right and I have received an old product. DO NOT BUY this product, it is not in such higher quality as advertised and off course you will stay alone with your problems - they have very TERRIBLE and frozen SUPPORT!!!

My only problem with this resin is it’s advertised as a do all best resin on the market. Just wanted to give a buyer be ware. I have used a couple different resins trying to finish/ fix a table I have been working on for awhile.( mostly because I restart over any small imperfection) anyway this stuff is THICK could be a pro or con depending on you application. But it hold bubbles like no other because of it, don’t know how it would fare against a vacuum chamber but if I had one I would have tried it, deep pores or trying to fill in holes are impossible, and it’s so thick any dust particles in the air will get stuck on top( I’m taking about the stuff you see when a beam of sunlight cuts in a dark room), other resins I have used that stuff seems to sink in and disappear this stuff it stays on top and makes small imperfections. It kinda self leveling but no so much as others. Would not advertise as self leveling. And last it’s not as scratch resistant as I would like. Only been a day so can’t give to much input on U.v resistance. Sorry for the book just know how troublesome epoxy projects can be and how all the info is appreciated.

C'est ma 3e commande de cette résine qui est super ! Je m'en sers pour faire un moulage. Elle est quasi sans odeur et peut être utilisée en intérieur. Art resin dit qu'elle peut être travaillée pendant 45 minutes, ce qui est très long pour une résine epoxy. Il m'est même arrivé de la travailler plus longtemps que cela (bien sur elle est assez visqueuse mais toujours utilisable) à une température de plus de 25 degrés. En bref une super résine !

Perfect best before date, fast delivery, quality product, worth the price, and a company that stands behind its brand. What else do we need? This product has not failed me yet and I also particularly like the fact of having little to no odour to contend with.

It is good quality products but the price is incredibly been increased from last month’s October 30th !!! I purchased this at 999 dh but now it been increasing 120 % to 2127 dh !!!!! With the work I do it is not affordable at all !!
