Fire Angel HT-630-EUT Heat Detector

easy to install , hopefully will never be needed in earnest

Arrived with both security seals broken so was obviously a returned item. Very poor.

So, this is my second of these. It appears to be the best on available ... but it says it lasts for 10 years and my last one died after 5 years. The maker ignored my email and of course it does not have a 10 year guarantee. As you can't replace the battery you have to count on far less than the promised 10 years.That said, you get a heat monitor not a smoke alarm, which is great for a kitchen where you DO NOT WANT a smoke alarm going off every time you slightly overcook a slice of toast.

Needed it for Fire Angel smoke alarm, I thought, but in the end it was not clear if that was the problem. Battery is fine, the Fire Angel system is not

I ensured I was buying from Fire Angel so I would have a Wi-Safe2 CO2 detector compatible with my existing alarms. Why companies like this feel the need to pull these bait and switch attempts just to ruin their reputation is beyond me. The unit sent is not the one in the picture or the description. Do yourself a favour and find another source. Or better yet find a more honest company to buy from. Images highlighting the picture and description, then what arrived.

I agree with the reviews from many of the people who have given negative feedback ,these batteries do fail and are not guaranteed for 10 years they fail constantly ,i have had them installed by my housing association, i have three installed the kitchen one has failed three times , the hallway one has failed three times the living room one has failed twice ,the kitchen one failed after 6 weeks of its installation the hallway failed after 3 months three times , you get a load screech from them which goes off constantly without warning, i was woken up at 3.30am yesterday, i pressed the reset button on the living room one then it went off 4 more times before i had to remove it from the ceiling and stick it in the drawer, to get back to sleep, now i will have to contact my housing association on Monday and explain all over again what the problem is. what a pain that is going to be as your explaining to people who haven't got a clue.

Le voyant de bon fonctionnement ne fonctionne pas. Le test fonctionne mais pas l indicateur de bon fonctionnement donc impossible de savoir si cela fonctionne vraiement

Mooi product, geeft duidelijk signaal af. De verpakking van het product was geopend, gelukkig was de verzegeling niet gebroken. De plek van de RF-module was leeg, waardoor ik eerst dacht dat de batterij eruit was. Lijkt me goed om dat hier te benoemen.De houdbaarheid van het product is 10+ jaar, wat beter is dan de concurrentie die vaak nog maar 9 jaar houdbaar is.

I DIT NOT RECEIVE the depicted unit but the non-wireless connected equivalent. I'm going to try to insert the old wireless module from the CO detector I was replacing.Or I'm forced to splurge another $30 on a new wireless module. The combined price of which makes this detector more expensive than competitors.

Der RWM kam zügig. Packung war leider aufgerissen und machte den Eindruck dass es ein zurück gesendetes Teil war. Abgleich der Seriennummer war aber korrekt daher behalten.Da wir dieses Modell im ganzen Haus haben und überall die Montageplatten geklebt sind ist die Montage super einfach. Aufsetzen, drehen eingerastet. Einmal noch den großen Knopf zum aktivieren drücken fertig. Die so genannte 10-Jahres Batterie hält im Schnitt 6-8 Jahre. Somit ist der Preis zu verschmerzen.

Gute Verarbeitung und sehr lauter Alarm.
