As mentioned by other customers, the quality and workmanship are excellent. Yes, the lining us real shearling, although the first pair I ordered had a black interior and the lining somewhat resembled fake fur. It wasn't -- close inspection proved it was indeed shearling, but likely a different breed if sheep.Next point: these gloves are deliciously warm. The other morning it was 7F with a wind chill of zero when I went out on the deck with a cup of coffee while the dogs did their morning yard patrol. Nearly 20 min, standing in the cold, and my hands were still nice & toasty -- and my hands will normally freeze in cold temperatures. I'd say if you're walking to keep your blood moving, they'd be warm in considerably colder temperatures.Finally, the fit. I'm a woman with hand size of 7 1/2 and fairly long fingers, and I find that most women's gloves are just too short in the fingers. The length of my hand from the crease at the wrist to the tip of the middle finger is 7 inches, plus a bit for the nail. The middle finger is exactly 3 inches, plus the nail; as measured on the palm side of my hand. So based on another customer review -- same hand size as me -- I ordered men's medium. It was far too large around the palm (by over 1 1/2 inches), and too long in the fingers (1/2" excess.)So I returned them and ordered men's small, and the fit is much better. There's enough extra room around the palm for a man's meatier hand, but the elastic on the interior of the wrist keeps them close enough to block out cold. The length of the fingers is perfect -- only the thumb has extra length.The lining in the small size is a natural-colored springy shearling.For years I've been stuck with either bulky ski gloves or inadequate thinner gloves & freezing hands on cold mornings. Don't know why I didn't think sooner about ordering on-line, but I'm absolutely delighted that I found these.I also ordered a pair of mittens for my elderly mother, who can't keep her hands warm in gloves. While her hands are thicker than mine, her fingers are shorter. The medium size mittens I ordered fit her nicely, but are a bit too short for me.I hope the hand measurements will help other customers choose a size. If you've been looking for warm leather gloves I believe you'll be very pleased with these. Both elegant, and highly functional.

These turned out to be very warm and surprisingly durable.

In 24 F , -4 C and windy, I could feel the cold air blowing right on my fingers, but the ski gloves weren't much better. These look great and feel good. The leather is soft and quality and the shearling feels good, but not wow! I was hoping for a little better feel. These are okay but expensive for what you get. I was really hoping they would keep my hands warmer. They are perfect for anything above 40 degrees F. about 5 C. I might try mittens next.

This order i had a pair of their gloves and one of their long ear winter hats shipped. Aside from the usual Iowa Winter, (this year being -28F, -49 with wind chills, plus the usual snow storms) the items arrived fine and on time with their expedited shipping. As i havent seen any reviews on their gloves I'll do a quick one, (I wont spend much time praising their products as there are hundreds of other reviews that I could only echo, take my word for it. Its all Spectacular).Firat day wearing the gloves, in thus far wondering if I should return them for a large or if they simply need breaking in as many leather products do tend to stretch to form through use. The fur lining is. EXCEPTIONALLY SOFT. I could not say it any other way, so warm and soft I could wear them year round just to feel the fur lining! And theyre so very nice to look at! All in all, i know where ill be going for my gloves from now on.You may wonder, if theyre so great "why the 4 stars?"Well i only had one hiccup, pretty minor but i must mention it. I had previously purchased on of their hats last year, (one of the older original models that has the loose unattacthed chin straps) and as it was unattatched i had lost recently just through bad luck really. I had requested to have some replacement straps sent and they had said they would gladly send some! Unfortunately i never received any extra straps in my shipment.Im still very pleased with their product and service, but i am now quite disappointed that one of my hats is still missing an inportant component.

Great looking and warm but, are very tight.

I bought these to keep warm in Chicago winters. Really nice quality. Stitching looks great and should hold up. No loss of lining material after one season. Leather is very soft and attractive. I went back and forth on color but decided on this dark brown which looks good with a black coat or a camel coat equally. Not too formal, but not ski-lodge either like the more rawhide looking variety. These things will keep you warm without excess bulk. They won't make you look like a race car driver. They will make you look like a stylish person who doesn't want to be cold. If your hesitation is over the price, just know that they will work better than anything else in the price range for this purpose. If your hands never get cold, sure, go cheaper. I have tried a lot of cheaper gloves and they were all either ugly, poor quality, or just plain cold. Do yourself a favor. These will last unless you lose them, which you won't do because you invested.

They were really nice gloves my husband has really large hands he needs like and XXXL so we had to return but they were great quality and great material

Excellent gloves! Why pay a little less money for an inferior product? These gloves will last a long time. The thick leather is a great barrier against the cold weather. The natural shearling lining adds an extra dimension of warmth for your hands and is a better product than man-made materials. All natural is the way to go. These are the gloves I've been looking for! Thank you.

Looking at other review images against my gloves. Two things struck alarm bells.1, The colour being totally different to the other reviewed gloves. Mine blue and the reviews are natural.2, How short the alleged sheepskin pile is compared to other reviewed images.Barely 5mm in pile. Looks and feels faux.Not recommended.Are they worth the price?No, not at all. £40 maybe..

Bought these gloves because I have had sheep skin lined gloves before and they kept my hands very warm. The fingers of these gloves are only lined on the front and back of the fingers and not on the sides (see photo of gloves inside out). As a result they do not keep my hands warm when it is really cold out (less than -10 degrees C). One the positive side the are very nice looking gloves that fit well. I wear them a lot just not on cold days.

The gloves are quite shiny and appear to be made of a synthetic material. Quality is not high. I was embarrassed to give these gloves as a gift and ended up buying from another seller instead.

These were a gift for my husband, and he loves them. We live in a small city and he asked where I bought them because he had been looking for a nice pair of leather gloves and could never find any here. The leather is so soft, the fur on the inside is nice and warm, and they fit him perfectly. We don’t spend a lot of time outside, but the weather here does get really cold, -30, -40 or and there’s usually at least one or two days every winter where it drops to -50 (Celsius). And these keep his hands warm while he cleans off the car, and drives to work, cause the car doesn’t finally warm up until he gets to work of course. Don’t know how they’d be if he had to spend an hour or two out in that cold. Of course I don’t think there’s much that would keep you warm when it hits -45. And why on earth would you be out in it for an hour or two? Lol
