If you buy this filter make yourself a favor, save the gasket o-ring from the one you are replacing. I doesn't come with a solid gasket but a channeled one, meaning it is c shape all around. When I installed, it started leaking, I removed and installed again with the same results, I realized the gasket wasn't doing its job, so I used the old one. I wrote costumer service explaining the problem asking if it was a way to get a real gasket, a lady wrote me back instructing me to do what I explained in my communication asking her to read my memo. She never answered me back. That a little bit unprofessional.

hugely expensive and a big PAIN to replace, didn't include the membrane which is even more expensive. do not buy GE waste of time and money. Could have bought a years worth of bottled water for this amt. and will probably do that in the future.

Same specs as OEM for our GE Reverse Osmosis system, much better price

This product is misleading and doesn't filter the water the way it's intended to be filtered because it doesn't come with a replacement membrane for the reverse osmosis. The GE Profile reverse osmosis system these filters are compatible with requires a replacement membrane and 2 filter cartridges. This product only contains 3 filter cartridges so the water is not filtered the same way, nor does it taste the same when the correct cartridges are used
