you wont be sorry.
I am not easily impressed, this is by far the smartest purchase you can make if you spend any time around water. I dont know why other people had issues, I popped my phone in without reading instructions and easily operated the camera AND touch screen. I was able to unlock my screen when it timed out and go from texting to the camera. The quick start guide says to test it first so I stuffed it with tissues and weighed it down in the sink... 4 hours later I remembered it was there and still no leaks. I dont dive so I cant comment on that but I have at least 3 phones at the bottom of the Guadalupe river. This floats and keeps it safe the cord is sturdy too. I cant believe it doesn't cost more.... think about how much replacing your phone is! I have a samsung S9+ for reference.UPDATE:I just got back from cancun, the underwater pics looked amazing, I went cliff diving and zip lining with the cord strapped to my wrist, got amazing pics and my phone wasn't exposed at all, you have to press hard on the screen to use the touch screen and take it out to charge but it REALLY protects the phone. Selfies, videos, and camera shots looked great, I could still hear when I got calls, AND the retina scan biometric thingy still worked so I could unlock it even though the fingerprint was covered. Some pics came out with water spots because I was in the water taking them above and didnt have anything to wipe it with. But other than wiping with a towel I never cleaned the outside, still got great pics and no moisture detected in the phone.... the floating part came in handy we were able to just throw it to eachother in the water without worries.

Great Underwater Phone Case
I purchased this case for a trip to Discovery Cove in Orlando and couldnāt be happier. I was debating between this style and āstandardā waterproof pouch and canāt say enough for the handle-type feature for taking pictures. Below is a more detailed review:Comfort: 5/5 - grip design is fantastic.Ease of use: 4/5 - must use side button while underwater to take photos, because fingerprint touch and the screen case design wonāt work well when submerged. Using the button is actually easier, IMHO.Waterproof: 5/5 - used underwater all day with not a single leak. Fully submerged and went under waterfalls with zero problem.Phot Quality: 3.8/5 - assuming we are comparing cell phone pictures and not professional underwater cameras, this takes pretty darn good photos. Because Iām not willing to take my phone into a salt water lagoon without protection, I canāt directly compare an underwater image without a case. But without investing a few hundred dollars into an actual underwater camera, Iām quite happy with the quality. Especially for under $40.Tip #1: make sure phone and case are 100% dry before locking, or condensation will build up inside and cloud the lens area. I had used glasses cleaner to clean off smudges and it must have been slightly damp when I put my phone in. The second time around I made sure everything was entirely dry and had no problems.Tip #2: lost the seashell key on day one (whoops) but the corner of a credit card works just as well to pop open the side locks.Very happy with my purchase and I look forward to using it on future trips with underwater excursions.

So disappointed! Does not work with iPhone 12 Pro
The buttons don't line up with my iPhone 12 Pro, but I figured I could manage with the touch screen. Read the reviews about people not being able to use the touch screen once they were in the water, and thought I would be able to if I pressed hard enough. I was definitely wrong! It worked on the surface before I went under, but once I went 2 feet below the surface I could no longer use the touch screen, even when I came back up. It was pressurized and wouldn't equalize without opening (which you can't do when you're in the water). Got this for a family vacation, and had hoped to capture special memories of my kids in the water. Should have used anything else! What a complete and total waste of money. And too late to return. Save your money, and your memories.
