Gundam Bandai Hobby - Mobile Suit Char's Z'Gok, Bandai Sprits MG 1/100 Model Kit

Char has extremely good taste in his mecha. Char's ZGok is like a chunky crustacean ready to be shelled and enjoyed with butter. I am excited to see its internal frame structure, but the internal frame is not quite what I expected in details. It is still a step up from HG kits and enjoyable to build. It is one of the less expensive MG kits on Amazon and a good project to work on. I just don't know why the non-Char ZGok version is so much more money. Same could be said of the Zaku II and Gelgoog kits. As Char was the main character in the Gundam UC story line, he was bumped out of this red/pink color scheme with the Zeong, but eventually went right back to it in glorious red: Rick Dias and Sazabi. Char's ZGok is a fun build, especially if you like aquatic mecha designs. This particular ZGok may have influenced some of the later Dougram Combat Armor kits in design. Crustaceans don't need necks.

A very good model kits.Once you start building, you start to appreciate that the effort that the model kits development team put in and the method they tried to solve the articulation issue. The inner frame has nice details. The arms/legs, which are famous for the snake-like movement, are almost accurately replicated.There are some issues on the kits that you should be aware of too.First is the claws. They're very easy to fall out from the hand modules. The parts are just not tightly locked together (after you put them together). Sadly, your best option is to use glue to make sure they stay in.Second is the stiffness of the arms/legs. While it's true that you can do all sorts of movements, the stiffness makes extending the arms/legs much harder. I accidentally broke the upper part of the arms while doing that and needed to use glue to put it back together. So if you're "playing" with kits, be gentle.

Use a pink or red pen to Color the eye urself as the sticker for it is awful and doesn’t fit probably. The joints are stiff and handle with care I accidentally broke one of the connection point and had to use glue. But now it’s all fixed and looks great

Awesome MG for its age. Pretty straightforward build - the only fiddly bits I ran into were the rubber hoses integrated into the limbs and slotting all the tiny vent pieces into the torso. Visible seams and a lot of open space on the outer armor beg for some custom painting, so if you enjoy that part of the process you'll have a blast here. The completed figure is heavy and rock solid; a nice contrast from the frequently temperamental MG kits.Sieg Zeon!

The MG Z’Gok is a great model kit that will be sure to get the attention of those who gaze their eyes upon your collection! While the kit is a bit older, being about 16 years old, the detail of the inner frame and good articulation makes it still hold up compared to newer Gundam models. The only complaints that I have are that nub marks show up easily on some of the darker red parts, and the sticker on the eye is horrible! I used a pink paint marker and a sharpie to get it to look as good as it does now! Despite this, I would say this kit is one of the best you could get for it’s relatively cheap price!

This was a slightly awkward build, but still fun. It's fairly easy, so beginners shouldn't have an issue. It isn't as easy to pose as most other kits that have normal-bending elbows and knees. The size is impressive, as well as the detail.

This guy is awesome the extendble legs and arms dont loose any strength when fully extendended. cute and menacing all at the same time great kit fun build.

Great fit and finish, looks better in person than in the images as well. One of the cooler looking models in my collection.

Fascinante en verdad este mobil suit es de los más destructores piloteado por el tremendo Char A. Me gusto la forma en el que esta diseñado igualito a la serie, llego antes de lo esperado muy buen manejo y empaque lo estaré usando para mi colección

Este modelo concreto es una obra maestra, bien diseñado y excelente realización. Fácil de montar y un acabado magnífico. El paquete llegó mucho mejor embalado de como habitualmente lo embala AMAZON. Debería de tomar nota Amazon de como hay que embalar esta clase de productos.
