Terramar Men's Thermasilk Filament Crew

This silk shirt was purchased for my husband. It is coming apart at the seams of the cuff and sleeve. I always wash clothing items before wearing for the first time. This item is supposed to be machine washable. I put it in a lingerie bag by itself and washed it with only a couple of other small items on gentle in our machine, then hung it to dry. After washing, the cuff of one sleeve had developed an inch area that was coming apart at the seam. In addition to the small separation of the sleeve and the cuff, the fabric was developing "runs" from that area. Runs like you would see in nylon hoisery. The fabric of the shirt also snags very easily. This item is extremely fragile. I would not recommend it.

I really liked the fabric, but my husband didn't so much - he thought it was too flimsy. And since the crew was extremely tight on him, back they went. I might look for a set of these for myself tho, so giving it a 4 star. :-)

It’s a shame. Extremely! thin. Really not worth it anymore.

Why spend money on expensive sweaters when these under regular office clothes will keep you warm. And unlike sweater they don't pill and more interestingly I don't overheat in crowded meetings (as I do in sweaters). Some sort of moisture wick ninja like action according the package. I have no freaking idea how it works but it's pretty close to magic for staying at a steady temperature in the office. Recommend it for men sitting in cost saving cooled offices.

Keeps warm

This thermasilk shirt is warm, light and confortable. My husband used it during a trip to Seattle in cold, windy weather. He never felt cold!

My son loved it. He said it feel comfortable.
