NOT compatible with headsets/earbuds meant for Apple products
Splitter doesn't help you if you're trying to connect Apple EarPods (e.g. the ones with built-in mic that came with iPhone6 and earlier models) or other headsets designed for Apple products (Bose, Beats) to certain PCs. If the mic doesn't register when you connect your 3.5mm, 4 prong headset to the microphone port on your computer without this splitter, then this splitter won't be of use to you.

One of them the sound and mic pickup is really low, the other one works fine.

Great for older laptops/computers
I needed this to allow me to use a headset with mike on a laptop that had separate microphone/speaker jacks. This splitter works perfectly.

Sirve para conectar auriculares del móvil en el pc, se oye bien y recoge bien lo que hablas, no obstante recoge y amplifica todos los sonidos de alrededor, se oye incluso lo de la calle, todo muy amplificado, resulta algo molesto

No funciona
La conexión de auriculares funciona. La de micrófono no. Vienen dos cables y lo he probado en un Mac Pro, sin suerte.En mi caso no sirven de nada.
