Normally, I need to buy 2 chains to serve as the 'timing' chain on my tandem but, at 122 links, a single length of the Zonkie chain did the job: a considerable saving over buying a dedicated tandem chain.

I've changed multiple chains in my lifetime, and this chain is no different to many others I have handled. This comes in at 1/2 x 1/8 Inch, 122 Links single speed bikes, so ideal for our BMX bike. It comes fully lubricated, so just go and fit.This chain looks suitable for leisure use, but not sure how it will hold up with some rugged use around the street being slammed around. Only time will tell!This comes in nearly half the price of premium brands, so with that I would have to recommend. If you are a more serious biker, I wouldn't put my full confidence in something unbranded...but will be fine for the street BMX.

Over time my bike chain seemed to be becoming looser and was starting to affect my rides to a worrying degree. I needed something that could withstand a lot of cycling, As i ride regularly and for long distances. This zonkie chain does the job well, It is thick yet agile, And can easily be unlinked to fit my specifications.The pack comes in a clear box and instinctive clear instructions that are not too complicated. This chain was very straight forward to fit as a replacement on my BMX bike. It feels a little tight.

This is a good quality chain, which arrived in a plastic box with the separate link in a corner section, ready to be fixed in place.Before ordering, I hadn't realised that a fixed speed bike needed a different thickness of chain; believing that a 7/8 speed would fit. This is about 1 1/2 X the width of a 7/8 speed chain.This is easy to fix to the bike; simply use a link extractor to get it to the right length, before installing and using the easy to use link.Update: I installed on my nephew's BMX. Within a couple of weeks, the chain has rusted really badly in places. Unlike the 7/8 speed chains from Zonkie, there's no mention of rust/corrosion resistance in the description.

I am currently in the process of restoring a BMX bike and needed a affordable yet high quality chain for it. I have used "zonkie" chains in the past and have always had good luck with them so I decided to give this a shot. In order to install this chain you will need a chain breaker. It does come with a masterlink but you will still have to shorten the chain to the proper size for your bike. Once you have the chain cut to size it is very easy to install it with the masterlink. It also comes with directions so even if you haven't done this before you can do it no problem. I've been riding multiple bikes with this chain for months and have never had any issues whatsoever with them. As long as you keep them lubricated they are very quiet and they are as strong as it gets. Overall for the price you really can't beat this chain. It is easy to install and super strong. I would highly recommend it!

zonkie Bike Chain Single Speed Bicycle Chain 1/2 x 1/8 Inch 122 Links.This is a perfect fit for my sons bike, he fitted it himself and said it was reasonably easy to do. His bike is so much easier to use now he has put this replacement bike chain on, so far it's still working as it should.It's very strong and hopefully will last a while, my son seems to get through bike chains like there's no tomorrow, it must be the ways he pedals I suppose!Any way this is good value for money and can recommend.

Priced at £10 this decent entry level chain is an ideal replacement if you haven’t a big budget for higher performance once’s.I’ve used this on a bmx with a fixie chain wheel and had to remove some links which was easy enough with a link breaker.The chain comes with a decent chain link lock for easy attachment when it comes to fitting.So far it’s good, I’ve had no issues on the bmx and only time will tell just how good it is.Decent for £10
