LED Light Strip for RC Fixed Wing Airplane Flying Wing Plane AR Wing Drone Model Car Truck (Yellow)

Body of RC car glows at night even better than the example pictures. I now have 3 sets on RC cars and it’s so much easier to drive them at night. The only complaint is that the blue adhesive strip protector is terrible initially to remove. Also, if the lights are stuck to body they adhere well but other surfaces the adhesion is poor. Solved this with some flexible glue and run small bead along both sides of led strip. They have not moved since. Great led strips and a good value! I’ll buy more as time goes by.

If installed correctly they work really well and are bright enough to see in the day. The pictured model is a savage xl. The second pic is just a little washed out but its still very green. Both were taken in bright light. The sticky backing worked well just make sure your rc is clean of all dust and debris and it sticks really well. Even through snow and light rain, I've not had an issue yet.

These little LEDs are very powerful for both my HPI e10 and CEN racing f-450. I bought two pairs and ended up using only one strip in each vehicle, so you can have enough for four vehicles if you want. You can also trim them short if you want to, but I just left them long and wrapped them around in a way that seemed to work.

Awesome lights, very bright. The strips are pretty long and can be a challenge to install, especially if you have anything smaller that a 1/10 scale.You receive 2 strips and a splitter. I used a single strand for 2 cars. 2 strips would have been way too much for 1 car in my opinion. I have 1 hooked up to a switchable BEC, and the other plugged directly into an aux channel on my receiver. Both worked without issue.I noticed they run pretty hot for an LED, so take steps to make sure they aren't touching any other wires. I'm not sure what the heat tolerance is on smaller cable shrouds, but I couldn't hold my finger to them for more than a couple of seconds.A fun accessory for the price if you enjoy tinkering and bling.I haven't taken either car driving yet, so I can't speak to the durability. The next nice day I'll take them out and see how they hold up and update my review if necessary.Would definitely recommend, 5 stars

Fun bright affordable on time worked out awesome to my rc truck

I really don't understand why some people are not getting the full potential of these lights. I hooked mine up to a 7.4v 450 mah Lipo on my Scythe flying wing and they are almost too bright to look at straight on. And these are 6v Leds. I have 12v Leds running off of a 18v Lipo that isn't nearly as bright as these. I'm very happy. Will be buying more.

So I ordered 3 sets of these lights, 1 red, 1 blue and 1 green. The red arrived with the light strips in nice heat shrinking with a seperrate y connector. But the green and blue arrived with no covering and seem much less sturdy then the red color. Which is highly confusing to me since they're all from the same company and models just different colors. So the lack of quality control is concerning and one of the strips (unprotected blue) stopped working when they get wet after running my rc truck after a light rain. I was under the impression these were water proof but I imagine the red color is only since they're the only ones with a cover. So I'm obviously not sure why there's such differences in basically the same product. But the lights are fairly bright and easy to install.UPDATE: their customer service reached out to me and helped satisfy my situation to the point where I can say they have amazing customer service. Just knowing the peace of mind of how firmly they stand behind their sales makes me feel so much better.

The lights are decently bright for the price I can’t really complain. One of the light sets had a plastic protector sleeve over the led strips and one didn’t. I installed the ones missing the plastic before I opened the other package that has the plastic sleeve so I didn’t know it was supposed to have it on them.

Ok went to wire these on a plane tonight ,without esc functions normally plug these in to the to the rx plug in a battery also had them on a aux switch so I can turn them off with a transmitter switch. With in 60 seconds I felt the esc and it was so hot it almost Burt me switched them off and the esc continued getting hotter as if the motor was being run at high throttle for some time. I thought wow that’s no good so I thought leds see if the leds are are getting hot I had installed them facing inward leds toward the wings from the back the leds felt fairly warm to the touch. So I removed the them as if the leds go lt to hot theyed start melting the foam . After removing I let the esc cool pluged in again and waiting several minutes the esc was cool to the touch so I may see if this same thing happens on other escs but you can sun these from the battery your planes runs or you kill your esc pretty quick likely the motor too. Also if they are pulling that much power I would wanna fly with them as that much more likely the cuz a voltage drop a brown out.

Les stripe leds semble bien par contre ce nest pas waterproof du tout... les led sont tout plier je craint que sa affecte pe fonctionnement reste plus qua les essayer

i used these to brighten up under my rc car. seemed to stick well. very long so u have options. i would buyt these again.

Sehr hell und intensiv. In ein 1/16 Modell, brauch man nur eine rein machen. Leuchten richtig schön
