Review: Sturdy & “Attractive”! - Just received my order 8/10/20, and I am amazed at how fast it came, considering I ordered it late Tuesday night (8/8/20) and received it on Thursday morning - with no special rush put on it. This item was a gift for my daughter and she was absolutely delighted with it. We are very pleased with the quality and sturdiness of the pieces. We both loved the fact that it included the garlic peeler, spatula and avocado knife/scraper. Instructions (very clear and easy to follow) were included on how to “season” the mortar, which my daimmediately did, using the ingredients and method suggested on the included care card. We had been searching for quite some time for a good quality, reasonably priced mortar and pestle set, and this granite set was a great choice for us. Nice looking and functional! Can’t wait to see if the peeler really works like in the video - but that was not in any way, the deciding factor in purchasing this item, so we are not going to put any importance on it if it doesn’t work. Bottom line is that so far, we love it! This item is as described and we highly recommend purchasing it if you are looking for a quality mortar/pestle set. While this was a gift for my daughter, I have to say that it was so much better than I expected in looks and size.
Review: A Must-Have for Guacamole and Pesto Lovers - When it comes to the culinary world, I have two true loves: guacamole and pesto. So, as a special Christmas gift to myself (because why not?), I invested in this Granite Mortar and Pestle. And boy, has it been a game-changer. The sheer number of times I've whipped up my own guacamole and pesto with this beauty is unmatched. I've created enough batches of pesto to last me for the next year – and that's saying something! But don't think it's limited to just these two delights; this Mortar and Pestle has become a versatile and cherished addition to my kitchen. Mashing avocado, garlic, and various leftover herbs is an absolute breeze with this tool. The garlic peeler is a lifesaver for effortlessly removing those pesky skins. What sets this Mortar and Pestle apart is its square shape, which adds a distinctive touch that I adore, it really helps me to grip the sides. The accompanying spatula is a handy addition, and in my household, you can never have too many spatulas. It makes transferring the goodness into a mason jar or bowl an easy task, leaving no deliciousness behind. My only wish is that the bowl were a tad larger to accommodate a whole avocado, but it still gets the job done. Having purchased this gem as a gift for others in the past, I can confidently say that everyone has been delighted with the product's performance and craftsmanship. If you're a fellow guacamole or pesto enthusiast, or just love to experiment in the kitchen, I wholeheartedly recommend this Mortar and Pestle. It's a kitchen essential that elevates your culinary adventures to the next level
