I can see a very faint line at the "t" mark. does that mean i am negative. will it get darker when i test in another week?

If you see any line at all...no matter how faint...you are negative! :)Oh...and to answer the second part of your question...I tested myself several times, each a week apart, and the line really didn't seem to get any darker.Hope that helps!

Can you test positive for Nicotine if you only smoke weed in papers? I used to smoke hemp wraps and I still popped pos. for nicotine awhile back.

If you don't ingest nicotine products - by smoking, vaping, chew, gum, etc. - then you will not test positive for nicotine.

Is false positive rare? My son tested positive 1st test, then tested negative 30min later

Yes, two different voids can result in two different test results when the cotinine level is close to the cutoff. So, my take on this is that he was Positive on the first test and then Negative with a later void, which is the most likely explanation. The test is accurate; but there is variability in the human body. In these situations parents should keep testing regularly, as the test is accurate and reliable.

So two lines are negative according to directions. Does this mean that there is no Cotinine in your system?

It means that any Cotinine in your system is below the cut-off of the test, in this case 100 ng/mL.
