I ordered these to supplement my daughter's Lego supply. Many sets do not come with bigger base plates nowadays and base plates are so useful.The base plates were packaged together in shrink wrap and then also taped together on all four sides. It seemed a little overkill on the packaging. Just the shrink wrap would have done the trick. The stacking pieces were in a separate bag. It also came with an instruction sheet to show how to stack the plates. There were ten plates and 80 stacking pieces included in the set.The base plates are similar in thickness to, although a little more bendable than, those made by the Lego company. I tried several different shapes and sizes of bricks on these plates. They all stuck well, not too loose, not too tight, even for very long bricks and plates from Lego. I have to say that the compatibility was better than I expected. Other knock-off brand base plates I have ordered have been a little off with the fit on longer Lego bricks. The color of these plates is similar to but not exactly a match with the bright pink made by Lego. It is a little bit lighter than the bright pink and much brighter than the light pink. However, it fits right in with the color tone of the Lego pinks so it will fit in with them very well. I have a picture showing them together so you can see the difference is very slight. The biggest difference between these plates and ones made by Lego (besides the branding printed on the studs of Lego products) is the backside of the plates. The bottoms of these connect fine with bigger bricks, but I think there could be a problem if you are trying to do more intricate builds that require studs attached to the bottom of the plate. If you are using these as the floor/base then they will do the job nicely.I have been very pleased with the compatibility of the base plates made by Strictly Briks with the blocks made by Lego. I have bought a few of these sets to add to our Lego collection and I feel confident that I will be ordering more in the future,

Great quality product. I was a little worried about the plates breaking when pulling them apart but they surprisingly didn't. Easy to build with, not very sturdy if you go 10 high. I gave 4 stats because the description says they work with mega blocks but they don't really. The mega blocks don't fit on them very well, they keep popping off. Works best with regular Legos. Love thay they come in so many different colors. Overall, great product for all your Lego building needs :)*I received this item at a discount for review purposes*

I got this for my daughter,, she loves Lego Friends. She fund easy to use and enjoyed playing with. it is stronger then I thought would be. it a bright pink. My 18 month old also put some of her mega blocks on it and the also stayed well. If you have a child who like Lego I think this great buy. I got this at a discount for my honest. I got these for my daughter for Christmas, so she hasn't had the change to play with them yet. However, they seem to be excellent quality. I was really surprised at how heavy they were. I was able to get them for a discounted price in exchange for my honest review, so it made them a fantastic deal. Even at full price, though, they would be worth it (legos are really expensive!) I really like that there are so many base plates, and that you can build a big tower for storing other legos. I am very excited to give these to her for Christmas!
