Hicarer Quartz Pendulum Trigger Clock Movement Chime Westminster Melody Mechanism Clock Kit with 3 Pairs of Hands

It was easy to install but there was one thing I didn’t like and that was the chime. It was a very low sound plus i didn't think it had a good sound, so i turned the chime sound off. Other then that it looks nice in my walk clock and runs well.

Well let's see if I can fix the coco clock I give it a five star though,if it don't work I blame my self!! Oh yea I got my dog clock going it's Barking every hour it took me two hours !!

It seems to keep good job But the charm sounds pretty bad The pendulum swinging back-and-forth. Sounds like it's ticking like a old-fashioned clock. I give it 4 out of 5 star. S if the charm sounded better.

This product keeps very good time and was easy to install the main problem is the chime is lame it is weak and sad sounding, also the pendulum stopped working after two weeks, I am looking to replace it.

Mom has a wall clock that uses this style of mechanism . When it gave up the ghost after 30-ish years, she was unhappy to say the least. Rather than toss the whole thing, i picked up this kit and replaced the guts. Well, most of the guts, the chime in this one isn't the best, and the old one had sentimental value. Luckily, the chime is it's own box, with the wire to the clock just going to a switch, no polarity to worry about. Assembly is easy, and the hands come in a choice of "Classic" or"Modern" styles. If you're like me, and needed to retrofit into a clock with a small-ish face, the modern ones are simple enough to trim the hands with a pair of shears to shrink the length without looking funny. A good option if you need a quartz movement with both a pendulum and a chime.

Overall physical components fit perfectly. Large hand set did not extend beyond perimeter of clock face plate / stick on numerical decal. Chime box fit okay, BUT, it only chimes on the hour, no follow on "gongs" denoting specific hour. ie 1 for 1 o'clock, 2 for 2 o'clock, et cetera. And the chime itself is VERY TINNY sounding. No volume control for loudness. Unfortunately, I already discarded unused components before battery install and testing. Couldn't send it back. Surprised because I had just done another clock the week before and all was perfect.

The clock piece works great The sound box is not that loud when in the clock is is very hard to here

El sonido no es claro, la melodía es solo 1/4 parte del sonido del Westmister.

Seguendo bene le istruzioni la suoneria è facile da regolare.

5/9/20 I do not like the "chime" on the hour, an odd sound, would rather have just a clear bell, but never mind I need not use this part. This clock has replaced a wind up mechanical clock.
