Kate 5ft×7ft Solid Black Backdrop Portrait Background for Photography Studio

If you need a stark white backdrop, this is it! Just toss it in the dryer with a damp towel and the wrinkles remove! The material from Kate is always top notch, so even with a nice bright light, I didn’t see too many shadows from behind the drop.

Great quality fabric. As stated in other reviews one side is matte, which was perfect for my project and the other side has a reflective sheen. Both are great. The sewn in pocket at the top makes for easy hanging.Some reviewers mentioned wrinkles. I found that 5 minutes with a garment steamer easily fixed it. The wrinkles were a challenges, but the product has to be folded to ship, so what do you expect?

This product is great for taking photos with a white background. It is microfiber on one side, but is either nylon, or polyester on the other side. This helped when I needed to iron the wrinkles out.To iron out the wrinkles, I put my iron on the silk setting and started to steam the backdrop. 95% of the wrinkles came out when properly ironed.I believe a better option would be to steam the wrinkles out, but I only had an iron on hand.Overall, great product and would recommend for its price.

This is my 3rd Kate backdrop and they are just so great looking and easy to use. The material is thick with a smooth side and a slightly flocked side. I iron on the smooth side and never have a problem. I bought this white one because I needed to take some passport pictures for several people and it made more economic sense to DIY. Well, the passport photos were all accepted and we have them so the backdrop gets a thumbs up in my book!

This backdrop is true to size and color but has a strange velvet like texture to it. This can become an issue because no matter how much you steam/iron it, there are"wrinkles" in it. We wet the entire thing and let it air dry, steamed it, and tried ironing it. This did help the initial wrinkles from shipping, but the lines were left in it due to the texture. This made a weird pattern in the background of our pictures. If you want something that is completely solid color and texture, this might not work well for you. It was affordable though, so for the price it wasn't the worst!

Great thing to use for taking pictures when you don’t have a nice background or for professional photoshoot. Even suitable for baby photoshoot. Color and quality is amazing. Value for money. Easy to store. Thick enough and light weighted
