CoolNES Silicone UV Nose Guard 4 Pack for Nose Sun Protection (UPF 50+)

Good in the heat or cold wind. Works great for Alaska sunny spring snow conditions when nose-burn is common (from the extra reflection off the snow). I almost can't feel the light, flexible silicon on my nose. Unexpected benefit is that when the wind picked up and temperature dropped it kept my nose warm.

I was very pleasantly surprised how nice these Sun nose guards are. First they attach very easy to my Sun glasses. Second the material is soft and flexible. Third the coverage is great. I recently had medical treatment for excessive sun damage to my nose. Needless to say I had to somehow cover my nose when I was outdoors while my skin was healing. ( bandages weren’t an option). These nose guards were perfect. My skin is now healed …..and whenever necessary I will use these Nose Guards. Highly recommended this product.

I typically spend lots of time outdoors, playing pickleball, doing yard work, cutting and stacking firewood, etc., so when I had to undergo cancer treatment that required no exposure to UV light on my nose I wanted something that would allow me to continue my outdoor activities. These nose guards fit the bill. Their big plus is complete protection from the sun. Drawbacks included adding weight to my glasses (sometimes requiring a glasses strap to keep them from sliding down) and uncomfortable sweat accumulation under the nose guard (I sweat easily and profusely -- this may not be a problem for someone who doesn't perspire as much as I do). Also, the method of attaching the nose guard to my glasses, although convenient, added another visual distraction -- I ended up cutting off the attachment tab and using a mini black metal binder clip to clamp the nose guard onto my glasses, then I removed the shiny wire "handles" from the binder clip. Given the alternative (staying out of the sun altogether) these were well worth the nuisance factor associated with them. I used two of the four-pack -- one on the prescription glasses I sometimes wear for yard work around the house, and one on the sunglasses I wear for playing pickleball when I'm wearing my contact lenses -- daily for a month. They held up well. I'll keep them for the next time I have to have this treatment on my nose.

When I got it I was excited as I just had surgery on my nose and needed to protect it. I could not get these little guys to stay on my sunglasses or glasses though. Many reviews had the same problem and I posted a question about it. Never got a correct answer though. I contacted the CoolNes and they replied immediately and suggested watching the video, which I had and watch it again. Still no luck after several messages back and forth got it figure out. See the picture (upper right) you NEED to pull it all the way though so the little Y shaped part is pulled through. (It will not break) Getting it off was a little harder though. They need to make sure people are aware of this that you have to pull it completely through. Other than that I suggested they have more of the tan color vs the other colors. I did not find any fowl smell or other problems. The work fine and is a great solution to protection and nose burn.

They are well made and material is good. Despite negative reviews I found them to attach well if done properly. Didn't work with large rim glasses. I had to drill and file a slot in frame between lenses to make them work. Once I did that they seemed to worked well.

These are fantastic! They fit my glasses perfectly so I will no longer have then digging into my nose. I like to read when I go to bed and wearing contacts is not great for that because I have to get out of bed, take them out and clean them. Now I can take my glasses off, roll over and go to sleep!! They are a Godsend for me.

I spend a lot of time outdoors in the southern sun, especially in the summer when I swim laps daily in an outdoor pool. Even though I use sunscreen, I ended up needing a Mohs surgery on my nose to remove sun damage, so now I not only use sunscreen but I use one of these attached to the sunglasses I wear while swimming. I was surprised at how comfortable these are- they fit close on your nose & you can't even see them while in use, nor feel them, as the silicone is very soft on the skin. They are excellent protection when I'm working in the garden too. I do wish they came in flesh-toned colors. But until they do, I'll be using these- and they hold up extremely well. Pool chemicals & sunscreen have no effect on them. One other thing- if your sunglasses are wider at the bridge, you may have trouble attaching these, so I'd suggest they make that part longer, & you could easily snip off the excess with scissors. But on the whole, this is a very helpful product, & I wish I'd been using these before I got sun damage instead of after.

I paraglide, which means I’m usually at high altitudes in full sun I’m on the second Amazon package of nose guards and they are really pretty effective for keeping my nose from getting burnt to a crisp. They are made of silicon so they can get sweaty and the triangular tip can be tough at times to pull through but for protecting my nose they are simple and effective. Overtime, the little triangular tip breaks off and I move onto the next nose guard. I usually get 30+ hard usages per noseguard If you are in a windy area (like me), make sure you put the nose shield behind your glasses and bring the loop over the top to the front to insert the tip. This will keep your shield behind your glasses where it won't get blown around.

I keep one by the door and in every vehicle I own for easy access. I attach them to my sunglasses when I know I'll be under the sun for extended periods of time. I use them when I cycle and while walking. The silicone is strong and stretches. I have found that the appearance of freckles and dark spots on my nose and face has decreased thanks to this product. I am allergic to bottled sunscreen and so I am thankful to have found this product. I would recommend and buy this product again.
