Miessial Women's Summer Chiffon V Neck Ruffle Maxi Dress Polka Dot Long Beach Wrap Dress (10/12, Pink)

I originally purchased this dress about eight months ago and returned it, as the medium (6/8) was too small in the bust (see original review below) and I needed a bigger size, larger (10/12). At the time, the same color/print in the next size was not available via Prime, so I did not buy a replacement. Fast forward and I have another occasion for this dress and it was available in my size/color, so I ordered it. The price has gone up $3 since the last time I purchased it. After opening the outer bag, it appeared that it was hastily placed into the clear inside bag. Yes, there was a little piece of tissue paper in the middle of it. Yes, the tag was still attached. But it was also not folded very professionally and upon taking it out, just had a sort of "worn feeling" to it. There were no deodorant marks or funny smells, however. I get how people might try something on and it does not fit, so they send it back. People might try on clothes in stores dozens of times before you end up buying something in person, so that did not really bother me, but yet ... it still felt a bit tired and not fresh. I really wish returned packages are inspected better and refreshed/folded so it looks better upon receipt. Anyway, I tried it on. It fits much better at the bust, but I'm still going to need garment tape to keep it from exposing my chest. It was a little long. The ties are a bit to deal with (yes, I know how to tie a wrap dress), as they are even only if you tie it in the back. If you tie it to the side, one will be longer than the other if you want your bow loops the same size. To be honest, I think I was better off with the original smaller size -- it is jut very low cut. Well, I am keeping the bigger size anyway. I need something to wear, and it will look fine. This is one of those dresses that you can't tell how it will fit you, and you can't depend on other reviews to help out (someone my height but ten pounds heavier ordered a small and said it was perfect? Sizing is subjective in many cases). If you like the style, order and see if it works. You can always return it, right? It's still a flattering dress, although I liked it better the first time I tried it.ORIGINAL REVIEW WITH ORIGINAL HEADLINE: Great dress -- for medium/large bust, size up one. I purchased the green floral print. I normally wear a 6/8 dress depending on the designer, so I ordered the 6/8. It fit perfectly everywhere ... EXCEPT for the bustline. The dress is a wrap style, which creates a nice V neckline. However, it did not cover the bust enough in my appropriate size. I'm a medium bust size as a 36B. I was hanging all out, and to layer something underneath would ruin the look and not be very comfortable. It does not have a snap at the neckline, but even if it did, there was not enough material to close it properly. If you are a 32C/34 B or smaller, it will work great for you in your normal size. Just FYI, I also ordered a size 8/10 in another color, and that dress fit great at the bustline (and it works well everywhere else since it's a wrap dress and you can customize the fit), but you will still need to sew a little snap. I ended up returning this, and will wait until they have this color/print in Prime to reorder in a larger size. It's a really flattering dress otherwise!

This dress is beautiful! I ordered the 18 and the 20 because I was under a time crunch and didn’t want to wait to get the right size…the 18 was perfect, it’s sexy and flows beautifully. The 20 fit just as nicely, but it was not as sexy - it was a bit more matronly, if you will.But that size 18…BAYBEEEEE….it’s giving all of the sexy flowy goodness…it’s great for dinner, a night out but you will give the sexy vibes!

I was really skeptical at first after placing my order and was very happy with the outcome. This dress is so pretty and is a perfect fit. I love the shoulder placement, the length is perfect, and the tie around the waist just pulls the look together. It is good material and a beautiful shade of green. Enjoy!

Loved this dress, super flattering but according to the size chart I was a large when I typically wear medium. I should have ordered a medium as the large was quite big on me!

This dress is so gorgeous in person! I bought the emerald green and I wish that it had worked for me. I have a large bust and couldn't get the medium OR the large to fit right. Just not enough coverage up top. But otherwise it fit beautifully and would be so perfect for a wedding or fancy event. So sad I couldn't wear it!

So the dress is lovely, flowy and light. It was a cool evening, it was comfortable to wear. It can be adjusted since it opens completely and the straps can be tied around your waist at your comfort level.If you are busty or have a large mid section it is ok. I had to pull at the bust area through the night even though I had a pin to keep it more closed, a Bralette would have been more discreet. As far as the mid section area, some of the pictures of me (did not post) made me look pregnant ( I was wearing shapewear). Maybe if it had some stretch to it, it might have been more comfortable.The straps would come untied unless I double knotted them.Overall, the color was pretty, it is a nice dress to wear for a summer wedding or any event.

I love the dark green color, but was surprised it was actually a stripe and not a solid color. It fit me fine, but I could see that someone with a bigger bust may have difficulty. I was disappointed in the length of the sleeve. It looked longer on the models. It is a beautiful dress.

I am 5’3” around 125lbs and ordered a small. It is adjustable but I found that it didn’t fit me well in the chest even when it was as tight as I could get it at the waist. When I first opened the package I thought I accidentally bought a wrap, but the tie goes through a hole on the side and then you wrap around you midsection to tie at the front. It’s very flattering and I loved wearing it with my boots.

I was really happy when I saw the dress, it is very pretty but the feel is terrible. I decided to keep it since it looked so nice. However, within having it on for a couple of hours I relized there’s a tear along the seam on the left sleeve. It is very cheap fabric so I can see how it would do that easily. I’m not sure if it came like that and I didn’t notice or if it happened when I gently hand washed it or in the two hours I wore it, in which time I was just sitting in my car and then sitting at my friend’s place. If it happened after I got it, I didn’t do anything unusual that should have caused a tear. It’s really disappointing. I would not purchase this dress again. Learn from me, buy one made of good quality fabric.

I wore this dress to my cousins wedding. It was so comfortable and flattering. I think if you fluctuate between sizes it’s great because you can tighten or loosen the wrap to your comfort. Customer service was great. Overall very happy with this purchase.

I thought it was polka dots but the tightly packed gear looking design was over-bearing to look it. I love the cutting n fitting. But return it as the busy pattern make it look cheap.

Still trying to iron & get the crease off, I think I will burn it off while trying hard to get the many creases off.😀Fabric looks okay. Need to get one size smaller , I usually wear size M but since it’s a wrap dress needs one size smaller as the belt area has extra fabric when trying to do the knot

Tal cual lo muestra la foto. El único problema para mi es el escote. Pensé que era un poquito más cerrado. Pero está bien en relación precio-calidad.
