I am now on my second DR.PREPARE Heated Eye Mask, and I have recommended this to several people to help with headaches. I bought my first one back in 2022 and used it a lot over the years. I had to replace it recently because the cord eventually pulled out of the control unit and broke off. It's unfortunate that they didn't put some kind of strain relief on it since people ofen wear these while falling asleep. However, considering it lasted nearly three years with frequent use, I wasn't too annoyed about it. The mask itself is very comfortable to wear. One of the best things about it is the temperature control; it gets plenty hot enough to be effective, but never feels like it’s "too hot" or burning. It is also incredibly easy to use with the simple timer and heat settings. I have used this for helping me fall asleep, and I also found that it is fantastic for headaches. It works well for relaxing tense facial muscles and providing natural, non-invasive relief for migraines and sinus headaches. It covers the exact area needed. The first one worked very well, so I decided to just get another one when it broke.

After several years of using a microwave eye mask, I switched to this mask. First things first, this must be plugged into a USB charger to work. It does not work if it is not plugged in and it will not work with my house USB outlets. I use a USB charging port plugged into a power cord and can lounge on the sofa while I warm my eyes. I am happy to say that it does work with my camper’s 12 volt USB port. That’s a winner for me. I am not a fan of spraying it with water to get moist heat. That seems like a potential breeding ground for something I don’t want near my eyes. I would recommend this product.

I use this twice a day to help with my dry eyes and I love it. It does have to be plugged in while you use it, but that's a minor inconvenience. I find that it does get a little hot on the warmer settings--I think it has gotten hotter over time--but overall it works really well, is comfortable, and is easier to manage than remembering to microwave a mask twice a day since I can just leave it by my bed and use it before bed and when I wake up.

I have extremely dry eyes. The eye doctor said that I needed to apply moist heat eye compresses twice a day. Wash cloths don't stay warm. The microwavable rice packs got too hot and sometimes melted. The DR. PREPARE USB eye mask has been the solution for my dry eyes. It comes with a small water spritzer bottle. I spritz the mask on the inside and turn it on to 104 or 113 degrees and set it for 30 minutes. (This is better than a sleep aid.) The temperature and timer are adjustable. Following my doctor's instructions, I gently rub my tear ducts to push out tear duct clogs. I do this after the DR. PREPARE mask has warmed the tear ducts. My dry eyes are so relieved. I also use a S brand eye ointment at night. When traveling, this mask may be plugged into an airplane USB port or international converter. Highly recommended! A friend purchased this for her sister traveling overseas with a need to help with Pink Eye treatment. I purchased this as a gift for another friend who has very dry eyes. She also uses the S brand eye ointment at night and likes the benefits of this eye mask.

Absolutely terrible quality. I purchased this item a little over a month ago and have only used it about ten times. The battery is already failing and barely holds a charge. Conveniently, it stopped working just after the return period ended. This feels like a complete waste of money. I expected much better durability and reliability. Very disappointing purchase, and I would not buy from this brand again.

Even though this mask did not work for me, I gave it 4 stars because it was well made. It has a stiffer pad that does not conform to your face shape and my eyelids did not touch it so the heat was concentrated on my brow and cheekbones. If you have more prominent eyelids/eyeballs, this will probably be a good choice for you because your eyes will come into contact with the heating pad. It was not hot enough for me as a result of it not touching my eyes so there was no therapeutic benefit. If you are not sure if your eyes will work with this mask, put your flat hand over your eyes. If you eyelids touch your palm, then they will come into contact with the healing pad on this mask and it will be plenty hot. Just be aware that it is a corded mask so you have to have an extension cord or sit by a power outlet to use it.

I love the fact that I don't have to get out of bed in the morning or evening to heat a "moist heat" type mask in a microwave. I use a heated mask to treat and prevent dry eye, and though this mask could be a tiny bit hotter, I use setting 5, it works well. It's also convenient that I don't have to set a timer on another device because Dr Prepare has a built in timer that shuts off on its own, letting me know when time is up. I tried another USB mask brand, but it was stiff and bulky, didn't contour to my eyes and nose, didn't heat very well, and was more expensive. The Dr Prepare mask is so good that I'm ordering another one for my husband.

Love my heated eye mask. Bought this, forgot about it and pulled it back out a week ago. I could never do the hot compress on my eyes- always too hot or too cold. And just when my wet warm washcloth got to the right temp, it would go cold. Being able to set a temperature and a timer is brilliant, so I don’t burn myself or my home. I get ready for bed, put it on, and I am done. I wish the cord was a bit longer because I always fall asleep with it on. and drag my power strip if I turn over. Lol. But if you can remember to unhook the cord, then it’s also a solid sleep mask.
