HUION Kamvas 16 15.6" Drawing Tablet with Screen 10 Express Keys

reinvigerated me, diving into zBrush and this is a great UX

I am truly in love with this piece of kit! I’ve been doing digital art for awhile now and I have been working on an old style tablet that just offers feedback without the visual display. I thought it was time I had a look at going all digital. It is safe to say I could never go back nor live without a deice like this. I do a lot of digital art, thumbnails, vfx and more on sites like FIVER. This device has boosted my productivity and income. The screen size to start with is beyond enough for standard graphical work. The colours and sharpness on this display is impressive, very accurate and the screen has barely any glare. If you travel a lot this thing will be your best friend, it’s ultra slim and reasonably light weight. The battery-free technology in the pen means not having to replace a battery right when you are right in the middle of work. It’s almost an effortless glide across the screen and the responsiveness is outstanding. Installation is very simple. It will output your image straight away but you will need to download the drivers from the website to enable you to take full advantage of the touch screen functionalities. The tablet acts as an external screen for either your laptop, tablet and more. With a resolution off 1920x1080 I can imagine some might want higher resolutions but be rest assured this is enough! Especially with the fair price tag. All in all this is truly fantastic and I cant thank the manufacture for producing it. It has helped my work at home job develop further with more and more opportunities being shown to me. It works as needed and the quality of the display is more than fantastic for everyday use. PROS - Responsive and accurate feedback - Screen quality and resolution is remarkable - Light weight, portable and sleek. CONS - Some of the cables are far too short for connecting up power, screen functionality and display output. - The Kamvas doesn't come with an adjustable stand (it's an optional additional accessory) - Huge bevels.

Edited again: I have updated the star review to 4 star as the second device is working as intended, although it wasn't easy dealing with customer services and I wouldn't rate them any higher than 2 star still. (Had to send multiple videos showing the exact same thing, even though they were clear it felt like a deliberate attempt to bounce the issue away if you refuse to give up they will eventually relent and help you.) Edited: Customer service has been in contact and have offered a solution for me to return the tablet and have it replaced. I will be sending it back and re reviewing the new one when it arrives and I can use all its features. I have only given a two star review of this tablet because of an issue I am encountering with the power port/cable to use the tablet on a mobile device making it only currently only usable on a PC, and my experience so far trying to get those issues revolved. If I do get help with this problem I will update this review to reflect that of course. I had purchased this tablet specifically so I could use it when taking my art away so it working with tablets/mobiles was the main draw to make me buy this. I did manage to get the tablet functioning on my PC, but when following the instructions to connect it to an android device the port would not accept the cable. It wont connect at all. Trying to resolve this with customer service by sending videos of the issues. However during this period I was away working for three days and came back to an email sent just before I left letting me know my case would be marked as resolved anyway and shut if I didnt send another video showing the PC connected cables too, the ports again clearer and all of the cables that came with the device. I wasn't able to respond in under 48 hours so I assume my case was simply just dropped. Even though I had said no problems had in fact been resolved. I am currently attempting to reopen my case and see if these problems can be fixed.

I bought this tablet as an upgrade for my wacon intuos and I was thoroughly dissapointed to find that, initially, the screen wouldn't even turn on. After trying multiple times though, it seems pushing in the HDMI lead seemed to get the screen on at least. Then after that the real problem began: the tablet not connecting to the driver at all. And because of this issue any kind of pen pressure sensitivity was made impossible. I tried everything from reinstalling the driver, running it as the administrator using different leads and pretty much anything I could find online to fix the problem. 10 hours in when shifting the cable into a strange position I managed to get it to work for a brief moment before it lost connection again. This told me it was either the ports on the tablet or the lead itself that was causing the issue. Either way it wasn't something I could fix so have now sent it back, very disapointed.

I've been testing this graphic tablet for a couple of weeks to then return it. The quality of the product is pretty good, precise and the side buttons are very handy, those buttons are a must have for any design session. My main concern about the product itself is the connectivity, in order to run the tablet you need to plug a bunch of cables which bloat any kind of laptop (an usb, an HDMI cable, a power cable), their usb-c connection is pointless as the usb-c link permit the tablet to run without the screen. Said so, the graphic tablet is not portable at all and it actually a pain to connect if you are using it with a laptop

Screen is gone

It's been a long time since I've seen a graphics tablet let alone used one (I think the last one I had was running on Windows XP). Therefore I was excited to get my hands on this KAMVAS 15.6" Graphics Drawing Monitor to see how the technology has improved and or changed over the years. I won't repeat what features are included as both the Amazon product page and other reviewers have already covered this in detail, instead, I'll comment on my personal experience and opinions. Firstly I was surprised that the tablet is not as heavy as you may think. It's not exactly feather-light but at the same time, it's completely fine to carry when your out and about or if you're using it away from a desk. It arrived very well packaged (essentially a box within another box) to ensure safe transit (I once had a parcel delivery company throw a new laptop over my fence so I'm ALWAYS happy when things arrive safely). Setting up was easy and anyone familiar with Android devices should have no difficulties even when it comes to using the graphics apps. It was fun to explore and use with a responsive and accurate screen (plus a battery-free pen that takes a bit of getting used to but is comfortable to use for long periods). The resolution of 1920x1080 is exactly what I was expecting at this price range and should be suitable for most common and complex tasks. The instructions in terms of connecting everything to everything else were clear, plus there are a few video tutorials online. I can't find a way to adjust the brightness which seems very strange. I might be doing something wrong but even a Google search didn't help. This is a strange omission if you are like me and like to work in different areas that have varying light levels. I would have also liked the cables included for connectivity and power to be longer as they are a bit on the short side. Overall for the price, you get a good tablet that works well - I look forward to using this even more over time. It's just a shame about the cables and brightness.

Qualora ci dovranno essere sviluppi rivedrò la recensione. Prodotto formidabile. Lo sto usando da 7 giorni 6/8 ore al giorno in realtà, ma per il momento è veramente un ottimo prodotto. È già la seconda tavoletta huion che acquisto e anche questa non ha nulla da invidiare ad altre marche ben più note. Appena installata ho riscontrato un leggero parallasse, ma una volta ricalibrato lo schermo ho risolto. Lo schermo è luminoso,la penna l’ho trovata piacevolmente bilanciata e la sensazione quando disegno ricorda quella di un pennarello su un foglio di carta. La risoluzione non è certo quella di un monitor 4 k, ma la resa colori è comunque molto buona. Se si conta il prezzo è eccezionale. Per il momento la consiglio a tutti coloro che vogliono avere un prodotto valido e a parer mio professionale per il proprio lavoro. Huion sta facendo davvero un ottimo lavoro.

Super produit Voilà ce que j'ai reproduit sur la tablette Il faut 2 a 3 jour pour prendre en main le système de calque et les différents brushs . Ça va changer toute ma façon de dessiner vu la profondeur des couleurs et la manière de zoomer pour les petits détails juste extra

Tablette graphique tout simplement incroyable. Aucune panne ni problème même après 5 ans d’utilisation. L’écran et le stylet restent précis et réactifs. Très satisfait de ce produit, durable et performant.

Plug en Play, simpel te installeren. Kan er op leunen met je arm en alsnog tekenen. Goeie pen. Groot scherm, dun apparaat. Kabels wellicht een beetje kort. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is geweldig. 250 euro was een koopje. Nu nog zien hoe lang ie mee gaat.

Produit top pour faire de l'animation VFX ou du digital painting les câbles sont un peu relou mais sinon il est très fonctionnel !
