Chef CraftSelect Turner/Spatula, 14 inch, Stainless Steel

This is great for pan or deep frying. Many years ago I had a mini deep fryer that came with one of these. This is well built and pretty sturdy.

I bought it for frying fries! But I use it for a lot of cooking needs. Stands up to the heat. Not a cheap handle.

I have been searching for a replacement for my old time Echo turner that had finally reached its end. This turner did not disappoint me. It works great, is flexible and washes up very well. Well worth the price!

I am spoiled to the EKCO spatula that we have had for many years. It has started to break at the spot welds. SO I thought this would be a good replacement for it. Close, but no cigar. It is better than any of the thick plastic or silicon spatulas but not very flexible. Better than nothing....

I bought three. I replaced the old one I had because I use it quite a bit. You know how things just get “old”. The other two I am giving to my kids because I know they will get plenty of use out of it. It is well made. If you don’t have one of these, you should definitely get one!

This kitchen utensil is perfectly shaped to grab up floating fries or small chicken bites when frying. It has a small wing-like shape on the edges that allows for quick maneuvering around a pan. It is made of a sturdy metal that is not affected at high temps of hot liquid such as grease. The slotted patterns help drain food efficiently from the liquids as well. Hard to find in the traditional kitchen stores.

You can actually use this to get under and flip things. You can use it to scrape a pan down. You can clean it in a dish washer with out it rusting to pieces. All of these are flaws in other spatulas I have purchased over the past few years. I have had some that are too thick to get under food, I have had some that are not structurally sound enough to lift anything at all, I have had some that rusted in two, I have had one with a handle just fall off.This spatula is of the same simple style that I grew up with. It is made of good materials and has simple construction. I have used two of them for over a year now and they are now my go-to spatulas. They just work as expected. Some others have mentioned that the metal of the flipper could be a little more flexible. I agree, but its not such a big issue that I would go back to any of the trash I was buying before.Buy this spatula. Flip your eggs.

You do wonder how many of these are ever used for cooking. Going by the reviews, most people use it for cat clumping litter and no wonder, it’s perfect. Strong, with quite a sharp edge so it cuts through clay clumping litter with no bother at all. Its shape means it gets really close to the tray wall and the holes are narrow enough to filter out clean litter while retaining the used bits. It lives up to its name, really sturdy. Like some other reviewers, I’d been using a skimmer which was about 60 years old, and never thought I’d find one as good. This one is.
