It's not perfect but it helps.
I was on Amazon looking for some speakers to attach to my quest 2 when I ran across these. I read reviews and some people claimed they now could run the volume at 1/2 instead of full with these attached. I figured, why not? These are pretty cheap so I may as well give them a go. I actually like the built-in speakers on the headband because it gives audio a more spacious sound. But my biggest gripe is I have to max out the volume on the headset and I still feel like I wish it were louder. After installing these tonight, (quite easy to install) and giving them a go, I found that they do enhance the sound some. I stress the word "some" as I still have to set the volume to maxed out, but now I feel like it's just right. These ear cups, help keep the sound around the ear and do help. A night and day difference? Nope. Do they help to make the built-in speakers way louder? Nope. They do indeed help make it slightly louder by reflecting the sound within the cup of each ear. Good enough for me.I give these a solid 3 stars. They help a little and if a little is all you need then you can't go wrong but I have a feeling that you and I might prefer some earbuds.

doesn't fit pico 4
bought these because I thought they would fit the pico 4, but they don't. The Pico 4's headstrap sits flush with the headset, so if you install it the silicone will get pinched and prevent the head strap from fully closing. They're also too long and pulling it forward to center on your ears will cover the tracking cameras.

Louder sound without using headphones
I discover this product when I was researching the location of the speakers on Oculus Quest. I cannot physically see the speaker grill so I was wondering how the sound travels to my ears. Long story short, someone on a forum suggested cupping the ears with hands to make the sound louder. And on the same thread, I saw this product.I tried the cupping method and sure enough, the sound got louder and you get hall echo effect of sound. Putting the kiwi muffs on, you get the same effect of cupping the ears. And they actually look pretty cool on the headset like they belong there. The only problem I have is the the "cups" are really not shaped correct to fit most ears. I think the male model they used have smaller than average ears that are high up on his head. If you look at the female model in the description section, that's where the cups hit my ears just above the earlobes. Of all the reviews of the kiwi muffs I have read, none of users had the bottom of their ears entirely covered. They should have made the cup oval shape (like most over the ears headphones) just 1 to 1.5 inch extra at the bottom. That would have cover most people's entire ears. I don't think it would make a big difference in sound, but it would be nice to NOT have the bottom edge of the cups touching the ears.If the cup shape is changed to oval, I would give it a 5 stars.

A decent improvement in sound
So this does make an improvement in the sound. For the price, I think it’s worth it if you’re not just going to use earbuds or headphones. I wanted something I could leave on my headset and not have to mess with. Not to mention I can’t find a pair of headphones that fit correctly over the sides straps anyway. However, there is one major flaw in the design of these and that is the how they fit. For me anyway, If you slide these all the way on to the side straps, the ear muff part is way too far behind my actual ear to do anything. I have to slide them forward about 1 1/2 inches for them to properly sit over my ears and improve the sound. Doing this creates a problem where the front sticks out just far enough that it partially blocks the cameras, and this limits how far to the side that the headset can track your controllers. (See pic)Maybe if you have a larger head than I do, you won’t have this problem of the muffs not lining up over your ears. I could trim off the excess on the front, but I’m not sure how well they would stay on considering that’s the sturdiest part of the design.Just something to consider if purchasing these.

Don't stay on well
My boys got these and used them for about a week before they stopped because they became annoying.

A silly thing but it worked for me. Know what you are getting
These aren't headphones. They're hollow earmuffs made of soft silicon to direct sound to your ears and block out some outside noise. As someone with a little mild tinnitus I could never quite get the Quest 2 loud enough for my liking, and the experience lost something compared to my old Rift with the built in headphones. This did indeed do a convincing job of making the sound louder, allowing me to hear subtle audio I could not before, like the crackling of the fire in my Oculus home. How well they work for you is gonna depend on things like your head shape, your strap solution (I am using the Elite Strap), etc. They don't cup your ears too tightly (they are designed to hover over your ears rather than touch them, but this too depends on your face) so the effect is not *dramatic* but for me it was enough. It won't really improve the quality of the drivers or anything. The built in speakers are what they are, a step up from the Quest and Rift S, but still not as good as the Index or original Rift. But they probably beat a lot of the cheap headphone solutions for Quest in some ways, and they're cheap. Not for everyone but I like them.

Surprising, and a “must-have!”
You’ll see other reviews that praise these things…and they’re not wrong. Want to make the best use of the Quest 2’s built-in speakers? Get these, and get more of that immersion you crave. Simple to slip on, they won’t fall off, even if you’re rocking Pistol Whip on hard mode! You can lower the volume a bit, too, since the cups collect and channel sounds right into your ears.A nice, reasonably priced addon that really has made a difference. Just like the slip-on hand grips this company also sells, these have become a “must-have” for my VR sessions!

Serves a purpose. Your comfort may vary.
I wouldn't go so far as to say that these earmuffs "enhance" the sound coming from your Oculus Quest headset's speakers. I had hoped that the shape might somehow boost the Quest's weak base levels but that's not the case. What it does do well is direct the sound more efficiently toward your ears. By not letting sound "escape" into the room, more sound is directed to your eardrums which effectively increases the volume. The volume increase is equal to four notches on the volume meter. So, if you find the Quest too quiet and don't want to use earbuds or headphones then this might be the solution for you. Or, if you want to play games and watch movies without the sound disturbing other people in the room then these earmuffs will help (to a degree). One thing I haven't tested is whether they're useful for blocking external noise from getting in. When casting your Quest to a TV so others can watch, the 0.5-1.0 second lag creates a distracting echo. I suspect these would help a little bit but the only real solution there are noise isolating earbuds or headphones. One caveat. Although your mileage may vary, the earmuffs didn't fit properly over my ears. The earmuffs extend straight back from the Quest. To properly cover my ears they should have angled slightly downward. The result is that the edge of the earmuffs would rub my ears which I found uncomfortable. I may attach these again if I plan to watch Netflix in bed while my wife sleeps. Other than that they'll be staying in a drawer.

Loudness enhancing
These really do make everything louder, at least double. I don't haft to run the volume at full blast just to hear something. Also brings out the bass. Some problems I have with it is that the cups need to be a little bigger and for the cups to surround and cup the ear more for it to be even more louder. To the point to where it would just about touch the head. Needs some soft foam at the cups to reduced the hollow sound. They have a tendency to fall off if bumped to hard but usually not that much of a problem. These also fit with 3rd party headstraps that some other types of earcups won't fit properly. Don't haft to remove the headstrap to take on and off, and is easy to attach and remove.

It’s ok but not for me.
They don’t really work as the sound is the same for everyone around as it doesn’t make it quieter for anyone else. It does make it slightly better for the wearer. But just get actual headphones instead. Fits great and doesn’t bug you. But I think headphones will be much better if you don’t want to disturb others with the sound as it doesn’t block it.

Works well.
Keeps the audio where I need it. Makes it easier to hear the game and blocks out some of the outside noise, which helps to improve the overall game experience. Light and slips on easily.

Awesomeness overload.
This is actually awesome. Whenever I go out to play outside or bring it to my friend or parent house, I cannot heard the outside because the sound is actually enveloping my ears. Of course it's not 100% perfect, but it does pretty damn well the job at boosting the sound for you but also for other around you. This is definitely a must if you don't have the deluxe audio strap mod/frankenquest.
