Wrangler Authentics Men's Classic Cargo Stretch Short

Purchased in two colors for my husband as casual everyday summer shorts. He finds them comfortable and true to size. He particularly likes the fact that back pocket holds wallet nicely.

I buy these a little big by one size and they fit and feel great. I buy one or two pair every year to work in my yard and on my rigs. Solid shorts and comfortable.!

Ok.... I have bought these several times, the shorts aren't wearing out or tearing, I am losing weight,.... I like these shorts so much, I keep buying them in my new size... Every size (44 42 40 and 38) has fit well, good length, and are comfortable... Pockets are functional, left side fits my smart phone... Yes, I will buy them again....

These have most of the features I want in a pair of cargo shorts, and none that I don't. They are well-designed, appear to be well made, and are less than half the price charged by my usual supplier for similar shorts. They are indeed a "relaxed" fit. I usually wear a 38" waist, but because they are so roomy and are woven with a little spandex, a 36 might fit better. Also, the text description indicates they have 6 pockets. Mine (in Olive) came with a 7th pocket on the right, which I've been using for a cell phone. It has no closure and is nearly big enough to contain my entire hand with fingers and thumb held flat. For some colors, this pocket appears to be on the left; for other colors, it appears to be on the right; for still others, it isn't clear that they have the 7th pocket at all.

Hubby said they were very comfortable. Fits nicely and bought his true size. I purchased the green and they can be dressed up or down. Yesterday was 91 degrees here. He said they are lightweight and he asked for another pair!

Fits well ,quality is good and value for money

Wanted to wait till a few washings to write this: this is a fantastic item, much better than described. Have you ever bought something, then when it's worn out or used up wanted to buy it again and found it's no longer available? Just to be sure this never happens to me with these shorts, I've now bought three more pair. Loads of loops and actually a deep slip-in phone side-pocket I hadn't realized it had when I boughbt it. Couldn't recommend more highly.

I have been a HUGE fan of Wrangler's Riggs Workwear Ranger pants and shorts. The design is near perfect, but the material is a bit rough. I've been looking for an alternative, especially in denim, and found these, but while close, they miss the mark. This review will take the reader through key differences that will help them make a decision. Material The Riggs Workwear Ranger short is made of ripstop cotton. It is incredibly sturdy, but stiff and with little give. These classic stretch shorts are much more comfortable, and have more give, and the blue denim itself is spot-on, but is also too thin. Wrangler could improve this by increasing the thickness and quality of the denim material. Front pockets The Riggs Workwear Ranger shorts have a standard pocket that is very deep. These classic stretch shorts have slash pockets, which means that it's easier to reach into the pocket, but there is less room in the pocket, and when sitting, especially on seating such as a couch or recliner, there is a greater risk of items falling out. Rear pockets The classic stretch shorts rear pockets have no flaps, which is ideal, but are wider and less deep. A wallet is looser and closer to the top. Side/cargo pockets This is probably the biggest issue. One of the big reasons why the Workwear Ranger shorts are a top choice is that the cargo pockets are large enough to fit an iPad Mini. Sadly, this is not the case for the classic stretch shorts, where the pockets are a good 2 inches too short. They use velcro straps instead of snaps, which is also a poorer design decision. In both cases, Wrangler misses out in reinforcing the fabric around the front fastener, as that is often used very frequently. Length The classic cargo shorts are a bit shorter. Comfort The classic cargo shorts are much more comfortable and lightweight, almost too much so. I can see them being great for summertime--as long as you don't need more space in the various pockets. Fit The Riggs Workwear Ranger short is both roomy and snug. Roomy in that you're never worrying about range of motion, but snug in that there's not a lot of give in the fabric. The classic stretch shorts are, for lack of a better work, floppy. They are looser and they add the additional stretch. If you don't mind the smaller pocket and like the feel of real denim, these are nice. But as a viable denim alternative for the Workwear Ranger shorts, they fall short.

Received today, the product fits well, the quality is moderate, not wrangler’s premium quality. The material is then and light. I am not sure if the product is original.

Die Shorts sieht wirklich gut aus und gefällt mir optisch sehr. Verarbeitung, Schnitt und das klassische Cargo-Design machen einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Einen Stern ziehe ich allerdings ab, weil die Größenangabe und die Stretch-Eigenschaft meiner Meinung nach etwas irreführend sind. Die Hose fällt eher eine Nummer kleiner aus, als ich es erwartet hätte. Wer zwischen zwei Größen schwankt, sollte das bei der Bestellung berücksichtigen. Außerdem hatte ich mir vom Stretch-Anteil etwas mehr Bewegungsfreiheit versprochen. Die Hose ist nicht komplett unflexibel, aber von einer echten Stretch-Hose hätte ich mehr erwartet. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt sind für mich die normalen Taschen vorne und hinten. Die Cargo-Taschen an den Seiten sind völlig in Ordnung, aber die übrigen Taschen fallen recht klein aus. Gerade beim Sitzen kann es passieren, dass beispielsweise ein Smartphone leichter herausrutscht als bei anderen Shorts. Insgesamt ist es dennoch eine schöne Cargo-Shorts mit guter Optik. Mit etwas mehr Stretch, größeren Taschen und einer passenderen Größenangabe wären für mich 5 Sterne drin gewesen.
