Take getting used to, but worth it.
Having read favourable reviews online, I was eager to give these a try. I wasn’t disappointed.Having sensory issues and also being easily distracted, noise cancelling is important to me. The nuraphones perform excellently. All but the loudest external noise evaporates when activated.Setup involves using the app which then performs some measurements of your hearing profile (quite how, I don’t understand) and your headphones are then tailored specifically for you.You can set up multiple profiles if desired, but I’m not sharing my nuraphones with anyone.I’ve seen complaints about the unique design, being both over ear and ear buds. It’s certainly an odd sensation when first you wear them. It did take me a few days to acclimatise and, even then, prolonged use became uncomfortable. But I found that taking short breaks increased my tolerance and, like breaking in new shoes, eventually they’re comfortable enough to wear for long periods. My only gripes would be that the headband moves a little too easily, so that putting them on and taking them off often needs some readjustment, and that whilst the programmable buttons are a neat feature, they’re too easily activated, requiring only the lightest touch. Obviously, this removes wear and tear, therefore increasing durability, but perhaps they could be adjusted to react more slowly, so only a very deliberate touch would trigger them.Apart from this, these are the best headphones that I’ve ever had. Admittedly, I’ve no experience of the very top end models, but nor will I ever, so I’m not missing out not knowing how they compare.Highly recommended headphones. Just ride out the weird, ear-invasion period. It’s worth the effort.

Best headphones in the world, but they are not perfect.
These headphones are exceptional in terms of quality of sound, I doubt there is a better pair of headphones in the world that can out perform them. However, they are heavy, a bit bulky, and I’ve had 2 pairs of them where the headphone and airpad become loose and you get feedback from the noise cancelling mics. Can also get tiring wearing them for long periods.Overall I do love them, but they’re just not very practical.

Unique earphones
The sound quality is excellent and the bass is really deep these phones pick small nuances which I have not heard when listening with other headphones it does bring you closer to an actual live performance. The inner ear buds took a while getting used to but after a few hours they were very comfortable, battery life is excellent and the initial personnel setup is unique measuring both ears , I’m not sure if the ear measurements is completely accurate but it is a different approach to setting up and individualising each ear to get the best sound possible for each person.

"Nuraphone Insights: Aesthetic Sound Adventure with Real-World Tests and Experiences"
The media could not be loaded. PretextI've used the rental scheme for the Nura headphones for quite a while before buying them outright on Amazon. I've had a complicated experience with using them prior to purchasing them, but after buying them, I've noticed that some of the problems I've had still remained at full price, which leads me to finalize my rating and review.TL;DR•Nuraphone headphones provide unique, personalized sound quality for audiophiles.•Noise cancellation, powerful bass, and quick charging are standout features.•Wireless range limited in crowded areas, discomfort in prolonged use, and design quirks like sliding cups.•Ideal for personal music enjoyment, but not suitable for extended gaming or work calls due to comfort and microphone limitations.Sound Quality 5★What attracted me to the Nuraphones initially was the customized sound quality that it generates per user. I have to say, this alone justifies buying this pair of headphones if that is what you want. As an audiophile, this will pique a lot of your curiosity. I have yet to come near another pair of headphones that can replicate this level of quality with the same amount of bass and comfort. Every time I use these to listen to music, I am completely wowed and amazed by the complex array of sounds that it can provide for your ears. On top of sound quality, the bass, which is one of the unique features in the design of the headphones, stands out tremendously. With the ability to control the level of bass and power of it, you can have an experience similar to a concert with the bass coming in through your ears itself rather than only being directed into your canal. This is very pleasant experience that never gets old!Noise Cancellation 5★The noise cancellation adds to the sound quality, as the Nuraphones have a feature within the software that allows a very slight level of noise cancellation. However, most of the actual noise cancellation will come from the use of high-quality, high-grade materials that it uses. In this case, the Nuraphones have a mixture of good-quality rubber and metal, which, although makes them on the heavier side of headphones that you can find in the market, do a phenomenal job at keeping sound out. I would go so far as to say that they do a better job when compared side-to-side with the industry-standard Sony WH-1000XM3s, which I have also used and owned for the same amount of time. When using these headphones in an environment while playing music, you will not be able to hear your surroundings at all. In this case, it is incredible when paired with the quality of the materials and music that you are playing.Battery Life 4★I think that the battery life is appropriate for the amount of quality that it provides you. Nuraphones do a good job at allowing you to balance the loudness of your music or videos with the intense power of bass and appropriate battery life. Of course, using music like this at that level of quality for hours on end, with the processing that is required to keep it optimal to your ears and your preference, will lead it to drain a lot faster. Rather than the approximately 20 hours of wireless use, it will go down to around 6. However, what I love about these headphones is that you can charge them really quickly. Much faster compared to, let's say, the Sony's, which I mentioned earlier. In around 10 minutes, you can get to a good 50-60% of battery life. However, be careful not to lose the charger as the use of proprietary charging ports lets me give it a lower score.Connectivity 2-3★The Nuraphone's wireless capability is another feature that I would like to talk about. One which I think is a matter of preference based on your own usage, but also usage within the real world. Using the Nuraphones in your room or in any other private setting is excellent when it comes to wireless capabilities. Due to the high bandwidth of data that it needs to transmit over the air into your headphones from your device, your range is already limited. Meaning, leaving your phone upstairs in your room while you go downstairs to the kitchen will lead you to lose connection. Comparing that to other headphones that don't focus on this level of quality, that might be a downside for a lot of people. But, if you keep that in mind, and if your preference for quality overwhelms that of anything else, you will not mind this at all.(Anecdote)However, one downside when it comes to the connection is if you're in a busy train station or any other public area, you might experience a significant reduction in signal range. In my case, I was walking around one of London's busiest railway stations, Paddington Station, as I do for my daily commutes. What I have experienced when it comes to connection issues is that when walking through the crowds during peak time, my headphones will lose connection with my phone, despite it being in my pocket, my trouser pocket. I will instead need to pick up my phone and hold it next to my chest so that I can get a good connection between the headphones. Keep in mind, I'm not very tall, which means that the headphones, at this level of busyness during the day, will need to be almost touching the device it's being connected to in order to get a stable connection. This has been a constant problem for me, which is why I have stopped using these headphones for my commute.Sturdiness 2★Another problem that I have found, I have had with Nuraphones in general, is unfortunately to do with the use of their unique adjustment features of the cups. Since these cups are based on the friction it has with the metal band over your head, it is likely that you might get a pair of Nuraphones that constantly slide down your head, which can cause great discomfort. When I was renting the Nuraphones, I have had them replaced around three to four times, based on this issue alone, which caused me great headache. I haven't enjoyed them as much as they might slide down in a couple of hours, or sometimes within ten minutes. If this is an issue for you, consider returning them and getting them replaced, as it won't go away unless you add sellotape to increase the friction, which is a small hack but will look ugly, in my opinion.Physical Comfort 3★Constant use of the headphones when it comes to daily use might also be a downside if comfort is one of the main things you seek. I have had conflicting experiences with comfort because it depends on the use for which I use them. On a standard music listening basis where I would listen with them for a couple of minutes, around 10 to 20 minutes, it is perfectly normal and fine. However, extended and long-term use, such as long gaming sessions and even meetings if you use them for work, will definitely be a downside as the buds themselves might cause an increase in wax production and sweating. In my case, I cannot go for longer than 2 to 3 hours at a time using them. I would have to repeatedly take them off in those sessions and take a break, which is something that you don't usually hear about headphones.Do you take the pain for the sound? That's up to the individual. In my case I prefer comfort.~~Conclusion~~All in all, I've both loved and hated these headphones. They're definitely unique when it comes to design and quality, but something I would use only for a select couple of use cases. As someone who has multiple headphones for various uses, I would use these for my relaxation time, as they provide the highest level of quality when it comes to sound. However, if I were to use them for work, I would have a hard time, as the only way to use them for work in terms of microphone usage is to purchase a separate microphone adapter, which is of high quality but ridiculous if you think about it.

Love these earphones
Love these earphones. If your looking for something a little different this is it 🔥You get bass in a a different experience, good balance of clarity, touch functionalities, and very good battery life.Cons: would be not very comfortable and noise canceling isn't that great but you do get an amazing social mode.I wouldn't knock the headphones over the Cons but you will overcome and get use to it.
